holy shit

I had this idea of Can in my head in my twenties, when playing drums on cushions whilst watching their 'Free Concert', for hours and hours. It def informed Body Riddle and Totems Flare. The feeling went “I will become CAN > I AM CAN > Oh, I’m NOT CAN. I’m me and this is more than enough / too much already". But I extracted a lot of juice from this period. Moons of Temper is in this zone, plus a memory of early BoC tunes I liked, my fave stuff of theirs. If we’re doing the whole influences thing - more than a few nods to Kevin Shields also. Anyway hope you enjoy it - christ it’s hard trying to explain my “self”.

never saw it
never heard it
never smelt it, touched it, tasted it
never felt it
never heard it mentioned
never had any idea of it
never dreamt of it
never wanted it
never missed it
never lost it
never found it

#makeaterriblecomicday

a terrible comic in which this one makes it to the bus stop after work just in time to get passed by the driver for jaywalking, before deciding to get fast food during the 40-minute wait for the next bus

first impression of DIVINE HAMMER by the m. sisters: it's brilliant

oh my *god*
you should try to make it to a screening of divine hammer if you can or pick it up upon digital release
potentially one of the defining films of the 2020s and indefinitely beyond (as long as people can connect with each other on a post-ironic internet that hasn't been rendered completely genuinely unusable for this purpose), and imo an excellent companion piece to action button reviews cyberpunk 2077 (!)
