Thankfully, I was able to tank some damage with Uncle Sam and use a hyper potion to bring Brundan back out, Dynamax and run over Machamp to finish this off! 😍 No idea what's next, but we gotta bring a new peep into the fold with the untimely death of Puff 🤧

The game obviously made a big thing about beating Kabu, but so far it's just been find the type advantage and 1 shot everybody, haven't really had to grind to level up in prep or anything either. And I don't even know what level people are gonna be or what type I'm prepping for when I turn up 🤷🏽‍♂️

And once Carkol came into the picture it became pretty obvious I don't need Vulpix, so swapped them out for Puff the Scraggy, coz I thought he might be a dragon type (puff the magic dragon), but turns out he's just a fighter 🤷🏽‍♂️

So we had our first close call, after breezing past Nessa with just Uncle Sam, Bartholomew evolved into Gyrados and also cleaned up Kabu on his own. But he was burned AND trapped in a firespin, but not even Dynamax Centiscorch could wipe him out!
