I also don't think disclosure fixes this. So many abusers don't go to jail for reasons that affect the victim. Watching someone who abused you go to jail doesn't fix the abuse. It's upsetting to disclose those events. The abuser will be asked "but who did you abuse" and that's not a great feeling
