A little past two weeks since I quit drinking and it's been a struggle, and it still is, but I'm doing better and for the first time in maybe 10 years or so, I'm feeling fully like myself. I've got a long way to go, but it's getting better every day.

Hands down, it was one of my top 5 shows of 2025. Behind Oasis, My Chemical Romance, and System of a Down, but it was still a phenomenal show. It was great getting a taste of Nine Inch Noize before Coachella, but it'd be amazing if they brought that show on the road to follow Peel It Back.

The Coachella crowd is mostly too young to know any of those bands that I mentioned at their peak (this includes me, who's watching Devo on YouTube at 29.) Younger people that weren't even a thought when the music came out want to experience the music live and in the flesh, not just from the record

1/2 Seeing a younger crowd show up for Devo at Coachella and having a great time is exactly why I think bands like Talking Heads and Oingo Boingo should reform. It's not about trying to relive the past, it's about generations experiencing something that was closed off to them.
