I think anyone who has followed me for a while has expected this post to come. Today, we said goodbye to our good boy, Henry. Sarcoma is cruel and unforgiving. But there is light in the time you share in life. Seven beautiful years with Henry. Thousands of walks. Dozens of toys.

I spent all summer trying to get within 100ft of the egret that perched by the weir. Every time it noticed me (or any other human) across the water, it would fly away. Anyway, here's the egret I found in a beck right next to the Aldi. Merry Christmas, everyone ❤️ #UKWildlife #birds
