Finished knitting my first actual project! This mofo took four months, came with me to my kid’s tennis practices, kept me company in Germany, and isn’t perfect, but I like it a lot 🥰 Superwash wool from Mountainstop yarn. The hanging photo is different light- wild to me how much it changes.

I preordered Jupiter Winter’s debut lp that’s slated for release next year, and immediately got digital access as a perk. It’s an interesting way to put out an album, and I like it! V much looking forward to getting my copy on vinyl in a few months 🪐

Garden update. The pomegranate flowers were a HUGE but definitely appreciated surprise.

One of the best experiences ever 🙏 Snatched up some VIP tickets to The Midnight (my favorite) and finally got to go last night. Tyler was a gem, the soundcheck was incredible, what a SHOW. Was super impressed with their opener too. New Constellations is amazing! #themidnight #newconstellations

My coworkers tell me that hyperfixation can be a symptom of ADHD 😬 I’m on my second one pound ball of yarn in 48 hours and my hands are so sore. Gonna, you know, try and give it a rest. Def better than stimming by messing with my cuticles, but still not ideal. Regulation is rad tho.

Finished the base panels for the crocheted granny square top/vest I’ve been making over the last few weeks. I suspect I’m going to want to add more length just for my own preferences, but I’m pretty happy with it so far! Not sure if I’m supposed to block before sewing or not.

I absolutely adore Stegonaute’s first full length album. Thankful to have preordered so many months in advance- I had no idea it would be such a limited printing!

My husband got the shingles, our normal folks to do the cooking couldn’t come, and my mom has 0 kitchen confidence, so I headed up the thanksgiving meal. It wasn’t traditional (because it doesn’t have to be). I’m proud of my mom for helping me out with this and rlly trying! I think we did okay 🤍

This hair dye brings me a stupid amount of joy; it fades so delightfully, hardly bleeds when it’s fresh, and holds better than any dye I’ve ever used. I meant to try different colors when I started again, but never moved past it. I will be devastated if Good Dye Young ever stops making Kowabunga.

Dyscalculia and hobbies like crochet aren’t the best combo, but I’ve been improving 🥲

Halley’s first attempts at crochet. They are very tightly woven green triangles that were supposed to be squares.

I made a friend today, and haven’t been able to stop thinking about it 🥺🥹 I feel like I should add, there was no poking or prodding in this. Mostly just watching and waiting. I have an awful memory from college of a stunned owl that then seized, and wanted to be sure to keep an eye on this guy.
