I guess I should start with the good. The set design and music were pretty good overall. The actors seemed to do a good job with what was given to them.

The bad is that what the actors was given was mostly garbage. The twist or whatever starts coming about 30 minutes in and didn’t add anything for me.

I defended Ruffalo’s character in Mickey 17 as being the correct amount of unsubtle. Everyone in this movie is like that character jacked up to 11. A pile of monologuing assholes that are so insufferable it goes past parody into being straight up obnoxious.

An easy project to replace a basement window ended up being a 2 day ordeal. But I have replaced all of the rotten wood and the bolted in, hinged window with something modern. Soon I will be able to airbrush gundam minis and have AC in the basement. Pretty proud of my work on this one!

Heavy Metal is one of the worst things I've ever watched

review of Heavy Metal on Letterboxd "Might be actually be worse than One, Two Many, but at least someone took the time to have this animated. 90 minutes that felt like it was pushing 3 hours, I can't believe this atrocity came from the golden age of animation. This film was created for incels 30 years before incel was a thing.

The fact this was considered relevant enough for South Park to parody is a damning indictment of those libertarian nerds that created the show."

Today’s progress on the Osiris aerial dominator (kshatriya) 1/100 gunpla. Made the second wing skeleton and attached the first two wings to the frame. I didn’t break the light switch this time, but it also doesn’t turn off when closed. Two more wings to go to see if any of them work correctly.

Mostly great engineering on this. However, not a fan of the lights using a physical switch that gets pushed up and down as the wing moves. Guess what’s already broken? The good news is that this only took 2 hours and I have 3 more to go.
