Act local... Just sent this to the mayor of my city asking for an action plan to protect residents if #ICE agents or ICE-imposters (since they typically aren't properly identified) start grabbing residents off the streets.

I'm writing to ask what (redacted), and the (redacted) police department, have as plans for if improperly identified people, likely wearing face masking objects, start grabbing (redacted) residents, who are doing nothing wrong, off the streets and throwing them into unmarked vehicles, like they have done in Somerville and Worcester. We have no idea whether they are ICE agents or not, and they are likely violating constitutional rights and laws. I would hope that our police department would intervene to protect our residents.

This is nearly as depressing to me as all the other depressing global news. Even as a structural engineer who loves historic buildings, & has been privileged to have worked on many magnificent ones, I've always wanted this ugly one (that replaced older, better buildings) hidden or demolished.

Messed up priorities: The Nobel Prizes are not televised in the USA. The only televised awards show I can find that offers non-entertainment-industry awards is Hispanic Heritage Awards (PBS)... meanwhile, here is a list of 34 televised entertainment industry awards shows. 34 !!!!!
