Thank you for your post and accompanying article. I remember him telling liberals to shut up. So happy that you (and I and others) didn't listen to him. Keep shouting the truth at this awful excuse for a Democrat. Let him go back to whatever hole he climbed out of and stay there.

Actually, no. It was the very first polio vaccine - Sabin's vaccine. The Salk vaccine was later. Smallpox vaccines were given to babies way back then. Thanks to science and vaccines, smallpox vaccines aren't needed anymore - and isn't that a great thing!

Yes. And you should have seen the massive attack ads run against him for that. He lost re-election to a fool in a suit (Ron Johnson) who continues to infest the US Senate with his ignorance and bigotry. Russ was right and righteous in his vote.

Your story on Each Step Home hit a nerve. The idea that someone is getting RICH over outrageous commissary prices makes my blood boil. What is Congress doing about this? When jailed people are forced to rely on purchased food + water to stay alive, it says something terrible about our country.

I remember getting the "shot" one first and then the following year or so the sugar cube one. Parents were so relieved when they saw the vaccination note that they sent home with me. No more being kept inside for fear of polio. Yes, I'm THAT old.

I appreciate the endorsement email I received today, but my ballot was RECEIVED by the election clerk 2 weeks ago. You need to send those emails sooner (ballots went out in JUNE)! Waiting until just before election day misses all those absentee voters who don't search online for endorsements.
