This fitness thing seems to be an invention by Leeds fans. He’s known for his speed, work rate, winning the ball? Plays 80+ mins in the majority of games. Never injured. Is it because he has a stockier build? He’s certainly not overweight. Lazy summary from a fan base that maybe seen him play twice?

Think this highlights the gap between top 2/3 Champ teams is growing massively to rest of lg as seen with gap from rest of PL to bottom 3. Top 3 in Champ racking up lots of pts and the rest all scrapping and taking off each other. Almost like LUFC, Blades, Burnley, Ipswich etc. need another lg

To be honest I don’t think we invested heavily. We kept the very strong core together which got us there from L1. Only additions which started regularly were Henderson (loan), McBurnie, Mousset and Berge who came in January. However I believe Villa spent about £150m 😳😳

I suggested the exact same thing when Hecky took us up. Knew he wouldn’t be tactically up to it. But I was shut down by most. It’s because it seems to harsh to sack a promoted manager. I’m sure another club did it but can’t recall?

For me, as long as we return to PL before we lose our parachute payments, it’s all fine. Don’t mind being in the Champ at all, in fact this season has been much more enjoyable than last obviously. But we do need the finances to continue. Also keep developing the youth🙌⚔️❤️ #bskyblades #sufc

Yep! Tbh I think the dip in figures and same for us is that we’ve been up twice and back down twice. Leeds yet to return to PL (although obviously looking likely this season). The average fair weather fan is getting bored of going now I think resulting in the core numbers dropping. Just a theory?

Yeah think they average 19/20k consistently but also the ground only holds 22k🤷🏼‍♂️ even in our 5th year in L1 we got 20k through. We have a solid all weather fanbase of 22-25k with an extra 5k roughly when prices are right, exciting fixture, not a cold Tuesday night etc. think most clubs do as well.

Yes I agree with this for the most part. But I think Leeds are home and dry and it’s frustrating to see fans put them down🤣 from an outsider looking in, I could easily see you winning all your remaining games. Toughest remaining fixture likely Boro away and they really aren’t that great tbh.
