From unflattening our structure, to welcoming new trustees & creating new support offerings for grassroots organisers doing narrative work, we've had a generative first half of 2026. Check out our latest blog for more - incl. trainings, events & learning resources: publicinterest.org.uk/spring-2026

Our Framing the Economy work (with NEON, New Economic Foundation and Frameworks Institute) got a shout out. Feels as relevant as ever - the need to tackle narratives around austerity, individual responsibility and economic fatalism that make inequality feel inevitable. Spoiler alert: it isn't!

We had a brilliant day at the Shifting Cultural Perceptions of Our Economy conference in York, hosted by Friends Provident Foundation.
A workshop - people sitting at tables listening to a speaker who is stood next to a screen displaying newspaper headlines on poverty, race hate and climate.

We loved meeting with our board last week to chat PIRC's values, aims and future strategy. It's hard, when much feels hopeless, to work out what a small org can do to best play our role in change. We think we are figuring it out though! Stay tuned 👀
