Actually this part had a few zingers tbh
“On its release in October 1940, the film was largely hailed as a success. It ran for nearly four months at two of New York City's largest theaters. Despite their initial objections, the British opened the film amid the Blitz in London. In occupied Belgrade, a projectionist substituted a purloined print of the film during a screening for an assembly of Nazi officers. It played for 40 minutes before an SS official finally had enough and opened fire at the screen. So much for laughing at yourself.

Chaplin's political project—to bore holes through these bloviating buffoons —works because fascist politics ultimately center the weaknesses and insecurities of their leaders. Chaplin understood how comedy reclaims power by exploiting these insecurities.”

“Trust me you guys, AI technology is definitely capable of destroying humanity!”
A Meta AI summary of the photo of PT introducing Charlie Chaplin’s The Great Dictator:

“About this reel
A comedian's "high on life" joke during a stand-up set at Ann Arbor's Michigan Theater subverts the expected solemn introduction to Charlie Chaplin's The Great Dictator with a relatable punchline about road-trip anxiety.”

Phineas P. Gage (1823–1860), an “American railroad construction foreman remembered for his improbable survival of an accident in which a large iron rod was driven completely through his head, destroying much of his brain's left frontal lobe, and for that injury's reported effects on his personality and behavior over the remaining 12 years of his life‍—‌effects sufficiently profound that friends saw him (for a time at least) as ‘no longer Gage.’”

Resistance to so-called artificial intelligence is, in part, precisely this: a forceful claim to the true value of one’s labor. The dream of AI is guiltless slavery: a world in which real wages race to the bottom against threats of unemployment while a select class pockets excess profits.

In the next, a still of a humanoid robot from the sci-fi movie “Zombies of the Stratosphere” (1952, Fred C. Bannon)
