You wouldn't consider rabbits as a species of conservation concern but the most recent review suggests there's evidence their numbers are declining. Not beloved of gardeners BUT rabbits are a reminder that we shouldn’t be complacent about a wild species. 👇 ptes.org/lwm

Late summer fruit can be an important food source for #wildlife 🍎 If you have fruit trees, leaving a few #windfalls on the ground can help insects, birds and mammals. Just move any rotting fruit away from paths or seating areas, and leave a small amount in a quiet corner for wildlife to find.
