It's disappointing to hear that John Lithgow playing Dumbledore in the Harry Potter remake considering how transphobic JK Rowling is and because he played a trans woman in The World According to Garp and it was a really good portrayal (for the 80s) including the discrimination and danger.

One of many reasons diversity in education rocks. In college, took a history post Civil War. My teacher was a communist who was an expert on the Russian Revolution. She presented history (Gilded Age) from the lens of workers, women & minorities. So thankful to be challenged like that.

It seems reasonable that funding for the military should be based on the DOD passing their audits. The DOD has failed their yearly audit 7 times in a row since the Department of Defense became required to undergo yearly-audits in 2018 resulting in huge amounts of money gone to waste or fraud
