So the Anthrax album was a little disappointing, but thst Flotsam and Jetsam album absolutely kicked ass.

So what do we all think of the new Anthrax album? I find it to be...alright. It's good. It sounds like what I expected. I'd call it a solid 7/10.

Since I know The Bleeding has a new album coming next month, I decided to give their other 3 a spin at work tonight. I forgot how hard they riff.

Smoked some weed before work and turned on a playlist of Dopethrone and Ten Ton Slug. Stocking breakfast food and vibing all night.

If you like tradmetal, this band should be on your list. I've become a huge fan. You can pick up hints of all kinds of old school metal. Love the Angel Witch vibe they have at times. hauntthenation.bandcamp.com/album/ignite

I ended up back on Mastrr of Puppets and Ride the Lightning, but I have definitely softened toward these albums now. I get it. I do like them, but prefer the older. Still can't stand most of Load and Reload though.

Also made the discovery today: the wife does NOT like Death Grips. Yeah, I mean, I get it. My own feelings are complicated. I mean, I like them? I think? God, I still don't know and I own like 3 albums and listened to them a ton years ago.

Going to give Death Magnetic, Hardwired, and 72 Seasons another chance. 72 Seasons has grown a little more on me so I figure I should give the other 2 another shot.

Going from a big city where small, obscure industrial bands can draw a crowd, to a small town where the popular bands are bands like Disturbed, Slipknot, Falling in Reverse, All That Remains, Korn, and bands of similar style is so jarring.

Apparently I missed some shit while away from here. God damn. In other news: my new apartment is slowly coming together and being a home. Broke as fuck now but it's getting there. Maybe by August I can start cranking out some new music.

Last year was clearly my year of death, so I think this year will be my year of thrash. So, to kick off I'll finish some discogs of legacy bands. Should I start with Anthrax or Overkill?
