built a diorama for my bionicle moc ✨️

blue light from behind illuminating a bionicle. the bionicle is sitting on the floor in a diorama built of dark bluish gray and sand blue lego. the bionicle has two tubes in her hands which are attached to vats in the wall lit by LEDs. she is flanked by two pillars topped with orbs. a rhotuka launcher hangs on the left wall, and a scythe hangs on the right

the same bionicle, this time in daylight. you can see more of the colors now, and behind her a kanohi tryna and a prototype of the kanohi iden hang on the wall

the same bionicle again, but this time the leds are turned off so you can see that her body, mask, and weapons glow in the dark

so stupidly proud of how this turned out

a bionicle in the dark with glow in the dark parts, she wields a glowing rhotuka spinner and a scythe

Toa Misma, the mysterious Toa of Psionics! she used to have gold armor, but she spent so much time outside of her body with her Kanohi Iden that her armor now glows an eerie green 👻

a bionicle with black, sand blue, and glow in the dark parts. she wields a scythe that is very close to the camera, and she wears the Kanohi Iden, mask of spirit. she is standing on a diorama made to resemble a dungeon grotto

the same bionicle, this time in the dark to show off her glow in the dark parts

my first bionicle moc: Toa Izak! he was the Toa of Gravity who led Varian and Norik's team, and was later killed by Lariska. he wears the Kanohi Knai (mask of camouflage) and can sprout claws of gravitational energy from his fingers

a violet, gray, and gold bionicle holding two golden energy claws towards the sky

the same bionicle but with his claws held in front of him

Toa Mata Gali approaching the camera with hooks outstretched

a wide shot of the diorama: cavernous lake tiles and stone archway from dwarven forge, a printout of Onu-Koro from MNOG, some fake plants hanging from the wall

my friend Katherine and i wrote this Star Wars ESE fanfic about a Yuuzhan Vong fleeing the Cremlevian War 😈 read at the link below!

the cover of Grand Prix by Samantha H.G. and Katherine Graci. it depicts a speeder bike ridden by a masked figure across a rolling plain in black and white

character sketches of Lira (young woman with dark hair), Sere (young man with dark hair), Y'tysk (a Yuuzhan Vong), and Severa (young woman with white hair and large eyes)

an excerpt from Grand Prix:
His domicile was even more alien: the walls of the tent appeared to be leather from the outside, but she could see now that veins filled with fluid criss-crossed them, and posts reminiscent of spinal columns covered in ganglia held up the structure. A bioluminescent sac filled with fluid hung from the ceiling, and the bone mask the rider had worn was mounted on the wall next to some sort of coiled serpentine creature.
“I am Y’tysk,” the being said in a sibilant rasp. “You impressed me with your abilities on the racetrack, your infernal machine nearly outpaced my yorik-ta.”
“What… What are you?” Lira asked. That prompted a chuckle from Y’tysk.
“I am a Child of Yun-Yuuzhan. I am Yuuzhan Vong. What are you?”
