When my mom got to about 80, she showed real signs of the Alzheimer’s Disease that would take her life. She started doing nutty things with her money — liquidating all her investments, then putting them into one savings account. Like that. Don’t know why I think of that today … but there you are.

Reading about proposed foreign aid cuts and remembering a trip to Cuba in 2015 to cover baseball. We were shuttled all around on Chinese buses. And a thought occurred: If you leave the international field, the countries you leave aren’t high and dry. They just get somebody else’s buses.
