I optimized some "overgrowth" shaders from patStar aka. Patrick Seeber aka. Rubikow. They now work with newer MV features like multiple color selection. After some testing, they run 10% to 30% faster than the originals depending on how many colors are selected. #MagicaVoxel #shader #GLSL #VoxelArt

I am deep into Magica Voxel shaders right now. Slowly learning how to write little bits of code in GLSL to generate shapes automatically with randomness. Just created a repo on Codeberg to host my shaders: codeberg.org/psoul/Magica...

I have finally cleaned up most of my archive. All the art I have ever made that has a digital trace is now neatly organized. It’s stored in my home cloud, sorted by year, with a preview folder for each year that has little 150kb .webp thumbnails so I can see all my art at a glance. This is 2025:

Knowing which type of pen, ink, how they do color, how they go from sketch to print, do they have models posing, how were they trained, what does their studio look like, do they use templates… all were the reasons I went and I only got a little summary I could have asked chat GPT to produce.

The exhibit was organized around artists with each room dedicated to one or two. Each room then guided you through the story and general themes of each body of work. Non of the pieces were translated. Works shown were primarily what I’d call a comprehensive. A revised sketch ready to copy.
