True. I’m still wondering if Schumer is correct that an actual shutdown would make it easier for Trump to delete parts of the government without coming up against the courts. If it is true then he has a point. But I’m not sure.

The main valid point he made was that by not shutting down the government will force a showdown between Trump and the courts to delete parts of the government. I’m still not sure it was the correct decision but it’s valid and likely true.
