Overall it feels like my executive function has recovered a *lot* over the past month or two and it's been really nice. Even outside of drawing more, there's some projects I've been working on on the backend that I haven't shown off yet, but am very excited to!

Revisiting an older sketch with the new linework method.

Linework of a kobold holding a massive crossbow, in the sort of neutral pose one would use for a ref sheet. She uses her own feathers for the bolts.

Cinder @psionicsuplex.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

Finished my little brush experiment. Need to refine a few things, but I think I have a better feel for non-pixel art now.

An Expie [a rodent-canid hybrid, with sleek black fur and orange eyes/mouth] from the side, yapping at an unseen third party. The expie is wearing a fluffy scarf. It is unknown what, if anything, is being said [apart from "yip yap yip yap"].
The linework/colors are done in a watercolor-esque style.

Cinder @psionicsuplex.bsky.social · 09/08/2026

Experimenting with brushes a bit, trying to settle on a linework style rather than figuring it out from scratch every time like I have been

Cinder @psionicsuplex.bsky.social · 29/07/2026

Got a feathered kobold character sketched out; hopefully she'll show up in some projects down the line? And a bonus creature! More on them later but I'm happy with the expression/shapes so far.

Cinder @psionicsuplex.bsky.social · 17/07/2026

Okay so I've been meaning to post more but I haven't been able to actually complete many pieces lately for a variety of reasons. However I *have* been sketching a lot so I might start posting more of those, just to get the ball rolling again?

utline of an expie looking at the camera with a faint smile and waving; they are wearing a red scarf. The linework is in a messy, sketchy style despite being pixel art.

A sketch of some manner of critter or even a creature [it's ambiguous what kind] holding the edge of a table, eyeing a large candy bowl mischievously.

Cinder @psionicsuplex.bsky.social · 12/04/2026

Decided to animate one of my critters. They seem happy with the results.

Cinder @psionicsuplex.bsky.social · 02/03/2026

A dusty bellstation, forgotten by all but nature.

Sprite art of a small structure holding a bell; moss creeps up the cobble base to hang off the worn wooden support beam. The bell itself is shiny and untouched.

aaa it's so nice to finally see this completed ;w; thanks for lettin me help it come to life :3

I wonder what she's singin' along to~

An icon of a wolfperson singing along to a tune coming from her earbuds. A set of musical notes is shown, but they don't match to any particular song; however, they are colored in the same colors as the trans pride flag.

Cinder @psionicsuplex.bsky.social · 28/11/2025

Drew a voidcritter trying a new look out; loosely inspired by @ezeeshady.bsky.social 's style which I find really cool

A catperson leaning back on a solid black background that matches her fur. A white outline surrounds her and her whiskers, and her dress is a darkish purple that stands out against the backdrop.
The catperson is looking down, as if considering whether it's a good fit or not.

Cinder @psionicsuplex.bsky.social · 20/10/2025

Experimenting with my style a bit! Extremely proud of this one, really. This critter's a mage who lost her sight in a battle with a being of pure energy. She's still adjusting to it, but has picked up a few extra spells to help fill in the gaps.

A wolf person, facing left, in the style of a portrait from an old school RPG. A stripe of charcoal runs across her muzzle, breaking up her otherwise plain fur. A hood cloaks her face in shadow, a blindfold obscuring her eyes.

Autumn is such a nice, cozy season; I wish it was real.

Cinder @psionicsuplex.bsky.social · 24/08/2025

Been drawin wolfpeople again and came across this newly-turned werewolf who's still *beaming* about their transformation.

An icon of a wolfperson against a circular alterhuman pride flag backdrop. The wolfperson is smiling excitedly and waving at the camera; they're wearing a beanie, a t-shirt, and striped armwarmers like it's still the 2010's.

Cinder @psionicsuplex.bsky.social · 15/08/2025

The Razorclaws are a mercenary group from one of my settings; iron is scarce, so they tend to get attached to their equipment, especially the steel masks that rarely come off. They're eccentric, but effective; nobody knows whether to love or to fear them, but everyone knows to leave the masks alone.

A wolf person either running or jumping; their cloak is spread out behind them, looking like the wing of a bird mid-flight. They're holding a spear, and wearing a steel mask, chestplate, guantlets, and shinguards on top of their regular clothing. Their eyes aren't visible behind the mask, but their lips are twisted into a snarl.

Just finished this gift piece for @flawedspirit.ca of his OC Selena as a steppe korogi- a species from Cascade, my comic and worldbuilding project. What she sippin? Out the coco nut? See the closeups to find out......

A graphite drawing of a nude lizard woman reclining on a beach chair, in a "draw me like one of your french girls" type pose. She's a bit too big for the chair. She is drinking through a curly straw out of a coconut in one hand, and holding a book in the other. She's holding the book to the side, and is looking at the viewer. Lacking pliable lips, she's using the end of her forked tongue to make a seal around the straw. Scattered around the side of the chair are three empty cans of zero sugar white Monster Energy, behind the chair is an open cooler full of ice and more Monster Cans. It is implied that this is what she is drinking out of the coconut- though how many more cans of Monster she plans to drink is unclear. Her expression suggests she has no intention of stopping.

A closeup of the empty cans of zero sugar white Monster Energy.

A closeup of her more heavily scaled feet. For the freaks (whom I love and appreciate).

Been playing a lot of Vintage Story lately and got the impression that my Malefactor character would 100% eat the first cattail they see.

A kobold version of the Malefactor from the game Vintage Story. They have horns that are curved like a ram's, a chipped ear, and a mask covering their facial features and expression. They appear to have eaten the entire end of a cattail reed in one bite, but the consequences of this decision aren't apparent yet.

a digital drawing of an anthro doe girl, browns in color with long brown hair that fades to a darker brown, short nub horns, and green eyes. she bends over with her hands held on her knees, looking at the viewer with a seductive gaze. she wears a black tank top with a rainbow star graphic on it, a red plaid skirt with chains, fishnet under her shirt, black and red striped leggings, and a garter on one leg. the background is a blotchy vertical rainbow gradient with black splatters here and there.

been thinking of that linux fox so i drew her

A portrait of a foxperson wearing green-tinted glasses, facing the viewer; her ears poke just outside of the icon's bounds.

The same as before except the background is in the colors/pattern of the trans pride flag.

Cinder @psionicsuplex.bsky.social · 04/06/2025

Fun fact: Antlers are very fun to accessorize!

A fanged deer OC waving at the camera; she has one intact antler, and around it are two ribbons - one with the transgender pride colors and the other with the aromantic pattern. The deer is very happy to be here.

Drew a lil icon of a kobold for a mini-project I have brewing!

An icon, kinda like a circular patch, with a kobold's portrait in the center facing right and smiling. Their hair is neck-length, and a little messy. The kobold's visible eye and horns are a golden color. The horns are the only part of the kobold that extends outside of the circle.

Just a quick one this time round Also I might try to switch to like, posting a group of these every few days, rather than one per day; less spam for y'all, and it'd give me more breathing room when things are a little hectic.

030

Cinder @psionicsuplex.bsky.social · 05/05/2025

Okay so it turns out I feel a lot more drive to draw a bunch of smaller sprites than one big piece so I think I'm gonna try to hone into that. Starting with this machete I drew for a project

A low resolution sprite of a machete from the side. There is a cord tied around the handle; on the tip of the blade is a pinprick-sized hole.

020

Cinder @psionicsuplex.bsky.social · 05/04/2025

I just realized in my previous post the transparent pixels were rendered black so the non-outlined version looked identical to the outlined version lmao whoops

010

Cinder @psionicsuplex.bsky.social · 04/04/2025

Toying with my style a bit and I'm torn between thick outline and no outline, what do y'all think?

A wolfperson with their arms crossed, wearing a tank top, baggy pants, a violet belt, and belted boots/gauntlets. Or gauntlet, as the other arm appears to have a bladed prosthetic at the end instead of a hand.

The same as the first image, but with a thick outline that looks like it would pop out quite a bit against a background.

1/2 I just watched @lavendertowne.bsky.social's most recent video and wanted to respond. I'm a disabled artist! I think that AI "art" is absolutely ridiculous and would have never had the same impact on My life as actual art, not even close.

a three panel comic. the first has the text "in kindergarten it became clear I was disabled," there is a drawing of a younger version of My sona. the second panel says "I was very slow to learn." There is a bear in the role of the teacher saying "please cut out the circle" and Me looking confused and worried. the third panel says "autistic too," I'm sitting against a wall with My legs tucked up. An arrow points to Me saying "scared off or was scared by everyone"

A two panel comic. The first says "It only took a year to discover another problem" and I stand nervous in front of the door to the principals office. The second starts with "Essential tremors" and I'm sitting there with My mom and dad. The principal says "Mr and Mrs Wolf, I think your child needs more care.

A three panel comic. The first explains "ET (Essential Tremors) consists of tremors throughout the body, it can ruin fine motor controls." I'm angrily trying to tie My shoe with the text "this is Its 8th try in a row" next to Me. The second panel says "Writing was nearly impossible" while I excitedly hold up a paper that is illegible chicken scratch. I'm saying "here you go Ms Donkey! I finished the homework!" The third panel says "I had to get what amounted to a digital typewriter" with a drawing of that machine. It has a small and thin digital screen at the top and a keyboard below it

A two panel comic. The main panel says "I was isolated and always behind in school." A bird playing the role of a teacher tells Me "you can't leave until you finish this." I look quite upset and in a small corner panel I am yelling. That panel says "It was so frustrating."

Artists feel pressured to make new art too quickly at the moment. Normalise artists fucking disappearing for months. Just walk off into the woods for a year and come back with a single sketch. It’s good for you

Friend wanted me to draw a piratey Cinder with my new tablet and I'm proud of the result, I really underestimated how fun it would be compared to drawing with a mouse

Drawing a lil comic and I'm really proud of how the opening panels turned out; more soon, hopefully.

A three panel comic: A jackal person lays on the floor on her back, her legs atop her bed, her room in mild disarray. She groggily glances over at the clock on top of her dresser which says 6:05 AM. Her gaze makes it clear that she hasn't had the best sleep.

I've been having difficulty finishing an art piece lately; what's more is that the art pieces I *do* finish, I can't upload to Bsky in their fullest due to the lack of gif support [which I heard is going to be changed soon?]; to compensate I think I'm gonna upload more sketches during droughts :3

A sketch of a deer person sitting on the floor, doing a sort of stretch where they touch their hooves without bending their knees (well, bending their knees as little as possible, given their leg structure). A few colored lines indicate that they're wearing blue leggings and a pink crop top, and have spots on their arm.

020

Cinder @psionicsuplex.bsky.social · 26/11/2024

also sorry about the lack of posts in general, i'm really hoping bluesky adds gif support soon because most of my latest pieces rely on animation and i haven't really had any luck converting them to a format bsky likes <.<"
