Got the runtime API designed. Outside of timelines, full scroll trigger, and full stagger support everything else in GSAP core should be covered. #wordpress #gutenberg #gsap

Just got done creating a proof-of-concept custom WordPress block. I wanted all the power of GSAP in WordPress but I refuse to pay to for it. So I ended up paying in time. 🤣 #webdev #wordpress #gsap

I am blown away by "The Little Schemer" by Daniel P. Friedman and Matthias Felleisen. Instead of taking the typical academic approach of throwing definitions at you it trains your pattern recognition via small questions and answers. #lisp #scheme #programming

I never considered creating a router as nested arrays. I mean it's a good way to internally represent a router but I'm so used to seeing routers in a more OOP style of programming where you create a router instance. #webdev #clojure

As an example you can see the REPL and the browser devtools console. (forgive the weirdness going on in the REPL. I'm still getting used to Emacs' terminal)

I always though channels and goroutines were unique to Golang. Turns out Clojure also has them, and then some. In Clojure you can have a buffered channel (just like in Go). But you could also have a buffered channel that drops either the newest or oldest value when full 🤯

GTK theming is unnecessarily hard outside of GNOME. Got colors working. Got mouse icon working. Actual icons refuse to work (as seen in Emacs task bar where ugly default icons are shown) 😪 #Linux

I'm really starting to love how everything in Lisp is just a list. If the first element in the list is a function then everything else in the list gets passed as parameters to the function. (Still learning all of this so I may have butchered the explanation 😂) #Lisp #Clojure

Busy testing out Nyxt browser. Reading through the tutoriall. When I realised the 'a' character is off by 1 pixel. It looks like it was moved down by 1 pixel. WHY? 🤣

Learning Clojure/LISP has made me feel extremely dumb for the first time in years. I feel like I don't know anything about programming. That being said, I'm quite proud of the first function I wrote without AI #clojure #lisp

It's so cool seeing FP frontend frameworks like Elm/Elm Land (elm.land) in this case. The syntax is a bit weird but as someone who came from OOP and procedural programming it's so cool seeing something so far out of my comfort zone. #elmlang

Are you tired of constantly having to write for i, e := range s {} in Golang? Yeah, me too! Let me introduce you to byteforge's newest additions, ForEach and ParallelForEach. Loop over your slices in style 😎 Get yours today at: github.com/PsionicAlch/... #golang

Just dropped: a functional programming–style collection API for Go! It’s not fast. 🤣 But you can now chain Map(), Filter(), Reduce() on slices like you’re living in the Laravel world. Because sometimes… you just want pretty code. 😎 #golang

Exact same function except that you can't do function chaining. At least you have full type safety and it's probably a fair bit faster at runtime. 😂 #golang

Just a quick rough draft that I came up with on my phone. Obviously it's not quite as "pretty" as the Rust version but it can definitely work. It'll likely look more like PHP than Rust: laravel.com/docs/12.x/co...

I tried to use Gin for a Golang web project until I realised that I can't use the HTML templates the way I'm used to. The extra lines of code is a price that I'm willing to pay for things to work they way I expect them to 😂 #golang #webdev

I couldn't agree with you more. It's so hard to actually hide your inabilities when talking to someone who actually know the work. I don't have enough characters on this app to properly explain what I had in mind so here is the LinkedIn post I made on the topic a week ago.

Laravel is the best web framewok I've ever used. So I was excited to hear about NativePHP for mobile. I was hoping it would be a good competitor to React Native and Flutter. But you have to pay to use it... How did PHP become pay-to-play? 🤣 #php #laravel
