I bet no one in the White House ever even took it. There are phone calls showing Trump knew about COVID. I think ivermectin and anti-vaccine rhetoric was all made up to kill us. Those parasites knew not to take an anti-parasitic.

Decaf is like a sedative to me. My taste buds alert the rest of my body that caffeine is coming. Everything shifts into overdrive, and then no caffeine arrives. My energy is depleted, and I'm ready for sleep, even if I'd have been fine without having drunk it.

As long as I can remember. I had sensory issues. Couldn't stand to have my nails trimmed because they were too sharp and the revealed skin was "ticklish". I also did a thing my mom called "monkey scratch", where I lifted my shirt and scratched the sides of my belly. No itching, just a sensory stim.

Jumbo jet pilot. I wanted to fly 747s and, later, the Concorde. When I got glasses at age 13, I knew flying was out, so I switched my dream job to computer programmer (wanting to work with HAL 9000), which is what I do now.

This was my experience with a Clash of the Portlands. I later found out they were put side by side because when — not if — someone tries to board the wrong flight, their correct gate is nearby.

In the late 1980s, I ruined "Happy Together" by The Turtles for someone. I think that's lesson learned for me, and I try not to do that anymore. Also, I love "Happy Together" and partly blame the recipient of what I said for letting that bit of trivia ruin it for them.

One of the reports I saw referred to the child as "physically unharmed" instead of the more common description, "unharmed". I think this is a far more important distinction than many news outlets want to admit. Because that child was absolutely harmed in a way that goes beyond physical.

It has so much depth. I'm part way through still, but I think they are doing a great job fleshing out the "bad guys" more than any previous on-screen interpretation had. I appreciate knowing why a villain became a villain. It's been like 35 years since I read the book, though.

Centrism. The idea they have to appeal to "both sides" rather than stick to liberal, progressive ideas. It's my understanding that the US parties are "right leaning" and "extremist right leaning" with neither actually leaning left by global standards.

Dems confuse "good president" with "good candidate". I think we need better than any centrist candidate, but I do believe Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris would have made decent presidents. That doesn't mean they were good candidates. The best president ever is useless if they can't attain office.

I'm sorry that my generation (GenX) couldn't stop the previous generations (Boomers, Silent) from seizing hold of the government and never letting go. I do believe we'd have made a difference. But now, I feel GenX has also begun to age out and should be waning in political presence; not waxing.

... in a while at age 60. Emboldened by how that went, I tried with others. It almost always created a layer of awkwardness if it wasn't mutual. So I learned not to share over time unless willing to risk the friendship. I wonder how many chances I missed at times. But also how many friends I kept.

I feel this is unique to both. At 22, I had a great "club crowd", and we all started hanging out outside of nite club time. I expressed feelings to one, and she wasn't interested. We became closer after because she was a hippie and really in touch with her feelings. We're still in touch once...
