3 women from my family. My grandmother who made my grandfather wait 3 years to marry her. She was a teacher in the 20’s & didn’t want to quit teaching. The morality clause in her contract forbade married women from teaching. My suffragette great grandmother, & my great great great grandmother

😱. Cleaning out some of my mom’s stuff 😟. This bonnet has been in our family since the mid-1800’s. I just asked my daughter what we should do with it & she said “Get rid of it!”😡😡It was my great great grandmother’s. At least 150 years old and still in pretty good shape. Maybe donate it to a museum
