archival visits here must be made 90 days or more in advance at most museums/archives, so December in Paris will be intensive, a good side note my French comprehension improves with each visit. Ciao for now, Paris.

Seeing tourist reactions to street demonstrations and rallies in Paris is illuminating: elements of being shocked, offended, perhaps scared, that this is not ‘The Paris’ they came to see, paid money for. Not chanting crowds and flags waving. But if you know the history, this IS Paris, and France.
