The fact that I’m now training for a half marathon still feels hard to believe. We’re running to raise awareness of PSC, to honour my donor, and to support everyone affected by this disease. Our goal is to one day find a cure for PSC so no one else has to go through what I’ve been through. (3/4)

Here’s what happens in PSC: 🫁 Bile Ducts: The immune system misdirects an attack on the bile ducts inside or outside the liver. 🩺 IBD Connection: ~75–80% with PSC also experience an attack on the large bowel (a unique form of IBD, usually UC). Only 8% with IBD develop PSC! (2/3)
