I find this varies a lot depending on the lens manufacturer. 1st party lenses usually have SKUs I can look up and get dimensions on to compare against available aftermarket hoods. Otherwise it’s research sto find a similar focal length with similar physical stats then mostly guess.

I had that lens for a while and it was fairly decent. Recently though I picked up the new Mandler 35/f2 and cannot recommend it highly enough. Beautiful and inexpensive (comparatively) with wonderful ergonomics

I think it’s more that Kodak’s Vision3 holds up better over time as it’s a professional grade film and has a wider latitude. Personally I’ve shot 30 year old Fuji NP* and Kodak Portra and similarly seen really good, consistent results, vs value stocks that are washed out after 8-10 years.

Curious how you found the volume on the multimedia bits. I went the first week it opened and the shouty bits from the Peacock Room were _very_ loud — you could hear it from like three galleries away. Was it still that loud? Or have then lowered the volume at all?
