I hope the movie flopping doesn't mean we're never gonna get that sequel. Not everything needs a sequel and some stuff should be left alone, but with it already being such a throwback film I feel like getting a sequel perfectly fits in with the vibe anyways? Idk. Onslaught was fun but wasn't great.

Got around to watching Onslaught finally, since it didnt come to a theater near me >:( , and while I had a good time I really question why not just.. making the guest 2. Onslaught seemed like a much riskier endeavor whereas The Guest didn't do great on release it earned a cult following.

I'm running into a lot of this after beating FF: Maiden of Blackwater because people are upset over a plot point and sexualization of specific characters. Almost nobody is talking about the actual game. Just these things and how "bad" they are. IT'S NOT REAL. It's fiction. Get over it.

I think one of the worst aspects of discourse around art is some people's total focus on standing on some weird moral high ground over fiction. If a piece includes something they don't like, its "glorifying" it, it's "supporting" it, it's "promoting" it (this ones is the current thing)
