o7 faithful old laptop. (SORRY IT IS GROSS) Lasted me 10 years. Battery lasted 5 years, replacement only 3 more. Speaker and key fell off 6 years in, and the screen hinge broke too. When I couldn't clean it anymore earlier this year because of how fragile it got, it was time to get a new one.

#Rimworld #Art Artwork of something that happened in my rimworld colony drawn by @jojoinai.bsky.social. Based on that "i guess we doin circles now" meme from a while ago. (Context to Jojo being good at drawing dead girls)

Digital artwork in a manga style of a rat boy in a maid dress chopping up rabbits for meat. On the line of dead rabbits, there is a human girl as well. Which the rat boy is expressing surprise over. Saying "i guess we doin cannibalism now". This is based on a Rimworld colony.

I tried downloading it, but it trips the anti virus because the person who uploaded it has either. 1. Modified it to make it run on PCs without needing steam. 2. Actually included a virus. I don't know how to disable antivirus on Win 11, or Id download it and test it on VirusTotal and find out.

I don't think there are more than 7 games that shaped me? Explanation in alt text

A collage of the 9 games that shaped me the most. I do not have that many though so only 6 of the 9 squares are filled out.

The games on my list are
Fallout New Vegas = Taught me that videogames can be escapism.
Minecraft = First game that let me express my creativity
Ether Saga Online = Where I met my wife
Lethal Company = I found my love for playing friendslop and built my current friend group from that game.
Anno 1404 = Realised my love for city builders.
Skyrim = Set my standards for roleplaying in videgoames.
Little big planet 2 = My first experience making friends online.

#DigitalArt #Art #Commission #Rimworld #Ratkin Commissioned @rayrie.bsky.social for the first time to draw Taffs! He looks so cute 🥺 The character is originally from one of my Rimworld playthroughs.

Fullbody digital artwork in a manga style of my half human half rat boy in a maid dress.

Screenshot of the game Rimworld. It is a colony management game where you manage a colony of people. This screenshot shows one person. A ratkin (a half rat half human race from a mod). The image also shows his status screen, which says he is male, 22 years old, had a childhood as an assistant, and as a servant. He has the traits Daydreamer, Misopedist, Servile and Bisexual. He is skilled at cooking and crafting.

I fucking hate how we are seeing actually excellent videogames on mobile, but they are ruined by decades of mobile game monetization and engagement optimizing design. Every time I try to play a mobile game I am bombarded with season passes, glowing buttons, and daily logins.

Not just because of the myth, I can overlook that easily. I found it irritating how nobody listens to the protagonist and it is played for laughs. The comedy feels very forced, and the romance has a lot of second hand embarrassment. For the premise to work she cannot stand up for herself.

Panel from the manwha that is glorifying the male lead. The protagonist shouts "Why did this story have to give Duke Cartane common sense?!"

#OtomeIsekai #Villainess #Manhwa #Isekai #Review I reviewed [Shall We Bathe, Your Grace?] A premise built on the misconception that medieval Europeans did not bathe or practice hygiene. I honestly found it irritating. 🔴 Not recommended Full review: myanimelist.net/reviews.php?...

I never played OOT and have no nostalgia for it. I was thinking Original OOT fans stupid for being so much against a remake. I was wrong. I just saw footage and it looks so bad. Maybe if they made it graphically impressive, but this factually looks worse than Vanilla Skyrim from 2011

#Gaming I wasn't the biggest fan of Borderlands 2 to put it mildly. But I thought about perhaps giving the franchise another try with Borderlands 4. ... 89 USD. The game cost 829 Norwegian crowns (89 USD) in Norway. When did videogames get this expensive? Did I miss something?

ICYMI there is a browser plugin called Shinigami Eyes that mark transphobe profiles and links red in your browser, and trans friendly people are marked green. It is user curated, so it isn't 100% reliable, but I still find it useful. Just don't trust it blindly. It has been used maliciously before

Went deep down the rabbit hole researching the topic of hygiene in the middle ages and early modern era. I knew this manhwa is built on a myth, but I am not well versed on the topic. Seems the biggest proof disproving the myth is how many soapmakers guilds there were (a lot).

I have heard good things about the Anime JRPG series called Atelier. Fans saying it is one of the few JRPGs that cater to women and not men, and definitely not gooners. That does not seem to be the case anymore. The publishers appear to have pivoted completely. I feel sorry for the OG fans
