that’s a leftist political philosophy and it’s very easy to stick to because it makes sense and is what bernie and other progressives believe. corporate centrist democrats like pelosi and schumer believe in the inevitability of capitalism. genuinely hope this helps. you have to think through stuff

and finally its inevitability. it is not inevitable. that’s what your rulers and owners want you to think. but in reality if people just act like humans—remember the lake—these fake markets and market reliance created by capital would recede because it is not intellectually sound or peaceful

capitalism also brings you the marketization of ideas and IP—only profitable ideas make it; not all good ideas are profitable. could solve cancer but if not profitable, not successful in our current society. can’t depend on capitalism to give us what we need. THE RIGHT believes in this the most

capitalism also brings you profit motive in all insurances lowers coverage and benefits increases costs affects the healthcare real estate markets heavily. also brings us slave wages first in the us then when made illegal internationally. cap depends on slave wages and nat resources free for profit

prutarius.bsky.social @prutarius.bsky.social · 13/10/2026
when really you could just share with others nearby instead of going to war over a vanity project. that is more sensible. capitalism also brings you rentier class where just by having the money passed to them they never work but just raise your literal rent and sit on asses which is not cool

is that someone by a contract enforced by the government owns land or resources. but if you picture yourself surviving 2k years ago, that seems ridiculous. you could “own” a lake used by many people and nature? what does that mean? you’d have to kill those who settled near “your” lake? …

& those principals on the left are far more egalitarian than ur bio. capitalism gave rise to silver spoon inherited rentier characters like trump and other figures focused just on massive accumulation like musk bezos truly some of the worst people in the world currently. it’s core principal….

this is an interesting post. it’s a shout into the void where no one responded. i wonder if you really believe that was insightful or if it was an insufferable cliche from a total corporate centrist shill. i would say principals in bio are not coherent with tweets which is also insufferable get iq

Ms Rachel from the top ropes
From Ms Rachel's account on Threads, she writes, "CORECIVIC, a company that makes hundreds of millions locking up KIDS in immigration detention
has a PAC that's sending campaign checks to Senator Susan Collins of Maine.
Susan Collins chairs the Senate committee that writes ICE's budget.
ICE is CoreCivic's customer.
The company gets paid out of a budget she controls, and it pays into her campaign."

question remains when will financialization of every market in the united states be rolled back? then this will change everywhere. Rentier will always get there ahead of the people who need the good or service—housing, parking, insurance, food, water, electricity, entertainment.

A real progressive and an actually effective person would have written the paper, called meetings with politicians, and convinced them to accept a draft of legislation that would reflect an appropriate wealth tax at estate and a federal level. Your part is not done, Professor

tax code is still not fixed. It’s too complicated. An American spend billions of dollars a year in tax preparation instead of the American IRS handing you a receipt for taxes already paid through payroll. I don’t wanna hear about these micro improvements that have no plan to be implemented

if this professor was any good, he would’ve turned it into a project 2025 for the left and written up actual policy so that we could pass the bill as soon as progressives get elected. I don’t see the legislation. I don’t see coordination with politicians. I see a popular fucking professor

this country is so crazy, even the good guys get popular for the wrong things. This paper is the wrong thing. If the liberal Internet is giving out participation prizes like this one, the right will always find the weakness. Everybody wake up stop acting brand new.

as much as they would like to project that we are living in their world and they are the aspirational goal, but they in fact live in our world and we make the rules. There is a history in this very country of taxing high-income and wealth, but here in this tweet we’re acting like it’s brand new

The real news here would be an explanation for why billionaires and HNW people do not leave financialized economies like the US & sim. It’s because they’re Rentiér asses cannot sit and make tons of money doing no work and spend it with private property protections anywhere else, so tax gets paid

i just can’t with your bio. obvi you don’t care to be understood or to assist in progress in this area. in your models, exercise capital controls restricting FDI only to real economy invest. & heavily taxing rentier FDI. middle class is a classless term. it means nothing & everyone thinks it’s them

if you are operating in an american context, the most probable and favorable expansion to taxation would be to what groups? corps, UHNW, capital controls, progressive taxation. talk to people publicly about what that would get them THEY DONT KNOW. how could they even conceptualize BROAD TAXATION
110
prutarius.bsky.social @prutarius.bsky.social · 10/10/2026
using the phrase “broad taxation” just means no american will ever understand what you mean are proposing and therefore will never feel the benefits of broad taxation

there is a huge problem with publish. academ thought on sm: it’s contextless for americans. this is typical professoriate behavior which is why americans don’t listen to or believe in your value there is no faster way to kill a good concept/ hypothesis in zeitgeist than to speak about it unclearly
