Nice to see a clean copy. I had digitized this clip from a VHS source and uploaded it to the Multimedia section on Nursery Tails 20-some years ago. 😅 This looks like it came off the DVD set - MUCH cleaner than what we had in the ‘90s.

Meet Timbit. 😺 The town has begun a trap / fix / release program. This kitten was caught and neutered this afternoon, but needed a home rather than being released as he’s so young and small. He’s joined the family now and will be a housecat. #Kitten #Timbit #Feral #NewLife

A bit of nostalgia and the history behind it. My Dad had the Cox P18 Trainer, which passed on to me. I don’t recall what happened to it - lost over time. I bought a modern version of it, and it’s sitting in storage along with the helicopter. #Cox #ModelAirplanes #Nostalgia youtu.be/WkuFTJB_SIU

Canada legalized pot years ago - as a business owner my thoughts on its use were the same as for any other recreational product: So long as you’re sober at work and doing your job properly, your personal time is YOUR business, not mine. Have fun, but be responsible.

So I'm workin on the site design. We decided to put a prominent link to our Generative AI policy statement in the footer on every page. Maybe other brands will do this too. Who knows.

Fables Diapers Generative AI Policy:

We're not into it.
Fables Diapers does not and will not use artificial intelligence (AI), LLMs, image generators, code generators, text generators or any kind of generative AI tools for any of our products or marketing materials. All our content, from a concept sketch to a blog post to a marketing video to a product design, is created by a fairly-compensated real person.

We know this takes longer and is more expensive, which is particularly hard on a small startup business with limited resources facing a time crunch. But we’re also artists, and we've personally felt the negative impacts of AI: it’s not good for us or our community. So we don't touch it.

That said, as AI worms its way into every piece of technology we use, we can’t promise that some software plugin or graphics tool won't use AI somewhere in its architecture in ways we don’t notice or can’t disable. We give you our word: we will never knowingly use LLM-based tools to create or help create anything you see, touch, read or purchase from Fables.

That's all we have to say about that.

That is SO reminiscent of the technique I used for YEARS on folks on FurryMUCK. I’ve lost count of how many I introduced to the ABDL world, and even got some of them to do it in RL. It’s amazing how you can turn an adult into a cooing toddler by showing some them some love and attention. 🥰

This goofball snuggled up to me (as he often does) while I was composing the post about the rock-picker. He’s my cuddlebug, and I’m his favourite person 😻 (probably because I throw off the most heat! 😸) #Cats #Cuddlebug #Timothy

My cat, Timothy, snuggled up to me this morning. He’s laying on his back with his paws all stuck up in the air, rubbing his fuzzy noggin on my face and purring his head off. 😸

Now he’s flopped over and snuggled in closer, but again rubbing his head against me and purring his head off. At least it’s 7:36am, and not 3:36am when he’s doing this (this time!) There’s nothing like being woken up at 3am by your cat purring LOUDLY in your ear! 😅

Yeah, this goofball loves me, and I love him! 😻🥰

WHERE THE 🤬 ARE MY EARS?!! 😅 Took this photo this morning while feeling slightly dysphoric, and ran it through Nyckel. Nyckel comes back with a 90.71% confident that I’m female. 🥰🏳️‍⚧️ Then I look closer, and realize I can’t see my ears at all! I’ve never really noticed before… #Trans #NoEars #WTF

A selfie that I took this morning. No makeup, no filters, just me. I’d combed my hair back and put it in a ponytail, and glancing in the mirror felt a sudden slight shot of dysphoria. I removed my glasses and took this selfie which I then ran through Nyckel. Nyckel came back with a 90.71% confidence score that I am female. 🥰

I know I shouldn’t be relying on an AI to tell me if I’m “passable” or if I’m “feminine enough” - but it’s a quick and easy thing that brings me some joy - so why not?

The gender detector AI can be found here:

🏳️‍⚧️ This is a photo of myself and my first horse, taken in 1995. I knew in my heart that I was Trans even before then, but I squashed those feelings down hard because that couldn’t be right and “it’s just a phase.” Nyckel came back with a 97.30% confidence score that I’m female. #Trans #NOT-a-Phase

Myself and my first horse, taken by my friend in front of his barn in late Spring in 1995. My hair was so much thicker then, and I liked keeping it long (it would wind up being MUCH longer than that, eventually!)

When I showed this photo to my 15-year-old daughter, she said I was “really pretty” 😳
If my teenaged daughter could see that, why couldn’t I?

I had had plenty of signs that I was Trans before this photo was taken, but I kept ignoring the signs and squashing the feelings down because they couldn’t possibly be right, and at most it was “just a phase.” I wish I had listened to my heart, but I’m here NOW, finally being true to myself. 🥰🏳️‍⚧️
