I’m not getting paid to say this. I wish I was. But I just really love gamesir controllers. G7 Pro (Xbox layout) and Tarantula Pro (Ps layout).

My pictures are bad and my mouse pad needs to be cleaned. But @wraithmarked.bsky.social ….. ily. These are even more gorgeous in person. Can’t wait for my Blood Over Bright Haven one to get here too. :>

A photo of my desk with all my items from a kickstarter that I backed from Wraithmarked. It includes special editions of the books Sword of Kaigen by ML Wang and Where Loyalties Lie by Rob Hayes, two bookmarks, two pins, and six signed postcards of art inspired by the two books.

The sprite work in final fantasy resonance is actually insane.

A close up photo of my tv, final fantasy resonance, boss enemy. Lovely sprite work. He has a big sword and a crazy flowy cloak thing.

I’m currently trying to reset my sleep schedule so I may or may not have played this for nearly 20 hours straight. (I’m tired). The game was excellent tho. Thanks @slimekinggames.bsky.social this was such a lovely experience.

Checking out Under The Island from @slimekinggames.bsky.social. I’m only a few min in so far but first impressions are excellent. The art direction is 10/10. And you can pet the cats. 😻 Runs and looks amazing on the Steam Deck!

Just under 70 hours and I rolled credits on Dragon Quest VII Reimagined. I still have some post-game stuff to do but this was my first DQ game and it was so charming.

15 and a half hours ain’t too bad for the first day. Granted the first few hours were from the demo, still made good progress today. Absolutely loving this insanely charming game.

My next game while we wait for Dragon Quest VII Reimagined is Omori. I just know this game is gonna absolutely destroy me.

A screenshot from Omori of Omori, Kel, Hero, and Aubrey looking in a mirror. The text box says “A floating mirror. Your friends smile warmly behind you.”

I did it. I had to grind extra levels. But I did it.

Final Fantasy IV pixel remaster screenshot, dialogue after beating Zeromus, the final boss. Dialogue box shows Zeromus saying “As long… as evil… exists in the hearts… of the living…I cannot…perish… Graaah!”

Yes, that many elipses.

I’m at the end of Final Fantasy IV and excited to be completing two classic FF games in less than a week (finished FFI the other day). But holy crap, the final boss Zeromus is so crazy hard. Gonna revisit the fight again tomorrow with a less sleepy brain.

Currently playing Final Fantasy 1 Pixel Remaster. There’s definitely a charm in its non-complexity. Absolutely insane to see how far games have come in their storytelling techniques and gameplay mechanics.

I absolutely love my rpf2. It’s a bit of a pain to set up but if you like horror, GameCube re2 and re3 with the hd texture packs are excellent. On ps1: Silent hill 1, spider-man, Diablo 1 SNES: chrono trigger, donkey Kong country Of course Mario, Zelda, final fantasy across multiple generations.

I’m having a lot of fun with photo mode in Ghost of Tsushima so I thought I’d start a little thread so I can share some as I work to wrap up this game. I’m in Act 3 now but it’s been like 3 years in the making. Here are some of my faves so far.

LordProvi @proviiiiiii.slorp.tv · 18/10/2025

Got inspired by one of @mechamudkip.bsky.social’s Tsushima photos and thought I’d try to recreate the vibe. Still could use some tweaking but it’s a very cool concept. Gonna keep playing around with it.

LordProvi @proviiiiiii.slorp.tv · 16/10/2025

Agreed. I’m 5 years late and finally playing Tsushima while everyone else is playing Yotei. Anyway, Tsushima is still a GORGEOUS game 5 years later.

At this point I am convinced you exist on tacos alone. (I say with jealousy)

Cronos: The New Dawn rules so far. I'm not super far in but I already know I'm gonna love it just based on how it looks, feels, and plays in the first bit. Incredible atmosphere. Definitely some Dead Space inspiration as everyone expected. But it's also giving Silent Hill a lot more than I expected.

I picked up this special edition of Dune today and I’m really in awe over how cool and detailed it actually is.

Front of book end pages depicting a big sand cave with silhouettes of people

End of book end pages depicting big desert with sand worm

Front cover of Dune showing the title and author with a silhouette of a male person and a big planet (moon?) in the background

Side of book depicting light blue colored edges

Finished Doom: The Dark Ages. Solid 8.5/10 for me. Couple minor things, I think, could have improved it just a bit. But, incredibly fun game. NOW, to finish getting the achievements :D

Got a nice little book haul today but these two are the ones I’m probably most excited to jump into. @scalzi.com @kaysynclaire.bsky.social

Two books side by side. On the left: When the Moon Hits Your Eye by John Scalzi. On the right: House of Frank by Kay Synclaire.

I have no other social medias to share this to. I just wanted to say that seeing @nspband.bsky.social and @twrpband.bsky.social live was a bucket list item, and I am absolutely fed. They played nearly every song I hoped for. Worth driving to NJ to be part of this hyped af crowd in their home state.
