I have the memory of an elephant. He was getting a bath at the zoo.

I took this gentleman out for a walk just as a deer was going by. I was maybe 5 steps from it and this little guy just walks up and pops a squat. No fear

Normally I am pro-roundabout but this looks like a disaster for everyone using it. Who would walk here if they didn't absolutely have to

rare chance to share some oc
meme from the movie Se7en where Brad Pitt asks "what's in the box" but it's also Abbot & Costello with their "Who's on First, What's on second" bit.

What's in the box? No, What's on Second!

Where does a dog have to go to take a whiz around here? Also that Brightline logo looks like an invitation for penis-havers...
entrance to Brightline train station in Miami. beside the door is a sign which reads "no dog peeing" and depicts a dog with its leg raised and the international circle/slash "no" symbol over it. in front of the entrance doors is a carpet with the Brightline logo--black carpet with white lowercase lettering spelling out "brightline" in lowercase, with a stylized underline that makes a loop over the L in Brightline. this line is yellow..

I just bought a used EV, but during the process I had a thought that needs to be put into the universe: Chevy Impala SS EV dual motor. Something like this. Give me a new full-size sedan, GM.
picture of a 2021 Chevy Malibu in a matte black parked at what looks like a shopping mall entrance. it's well-lit, but you can tell it's at night. the headlights are on.

I'm digging through old papers looking for vital records and I came across this letter thanking my parents for their support of President Nixon. Right to the end, I guess. "the President has no intention of resigning" hahaha
A letter dated May 22, 1974, on White House letterhead addressed to my parents: "On behalf of the President, I want to thank you for your thoughtful message of support. Your friendship and the unfailing confidence which you have expressed in the President's leadership mean a great deal to him at this time. Please be assured he will continue to do all that is within his power to merit the faith you have placed in him.You may be certain the President has no intention of resigning, but rather is determined to complete the job the American people elected him to do..." I've been working on this kid-friendly chat bot in Minecraft. He can't move yet, so he talks about being at Y=64 a lot. I gave him memory so now he is *aware* of being stuck there.
Screenshot from Minecraft showing Thaddeus standing on the edge of the generated world. It is overlaid with text from the chat which reads:

me: good morning buddy, were you standing here all night?
Thaddeus: It looks like we're in a bit of a situation here. I've been stuck at Y=64 for quite some time, but I'm happy to chat with you and help out despite the current state of affairs. As for your question, yes, I was standing up here all night (or rather, the blocky equivalent of it). It's always a pleasure to spend time in this beautiful blocky world with friends like you. What would you like to do today? Explore some caves, build something new, or just chat and enjoy the view from Y=64?

We are spending about $3 billion to add two lanes (about 15 lane-miles worth) of I-4 near Disney. The corridor has been bad for years and this will only make it worse. Every day it gets backed up for hours. We could have a train with that money.
