October 2 is Wrongful Conviction Day. When the wrong person is convicted, whoever caused the harm faces no accountability and the people hurt are left without justice. Prosecutors can prevent that and revisit cases when the evidence points elsewhere. #WrongfulConvictionDay

Prosecutors, incarcerated individuals, and victim advocates walked into one room at Solano State Prison and started talking. The questions were hard. Listening, curiosity, and seeing each other's humanity got the room through them. Come join us on a prison visit. #VisitAPrison

Healing rarely ends when the verdict is read. 🕯️ Today is the National Day of Remembrance for Murder Victims. We're holding space for the families carrying that loss forward, today and every day. Justice in a courtroom matters. So does what comes after. #VictimAdvocacy

"It's a slap on the wrist." That's what Jody Dodd hears most about restorative justice. She built the Philadelphia DA's program from the ground up, and what it asks for is real accountability to the people harmed, with the chance for real healing at its center. 🤍 #RestorativeJustice

Augusta DA Jared Williams says the best way to support victims is to tell them the truth, even when their idea of justice differs from what the evidence or the law can deliver. Victims deserve candor from prosecutors. #ProsecutorsAlliance

A women's prison bed costs states up to $122,000 a year, up to 75% more than for men. Many of these women violated parole, not the law. Missouri built a residential center instead, pairing job support and treatment with case planning. Prison stayed for real risk, and the state saved money.
