“People are ok if you’ve been mentally unwell once. But twice? 3 times? She’s in hospital again? That’s not a palatable, ‘media-friendly’ kind of mental illness. A woman who publicly speaks about her mental health needs to confidently smile on magazine covers while wearing white linen and no shoes.”

On this day in 2021, I published ‘Change of Plans’ and promptly ignored it because ‘Ignis’ called and I also went to head hospital. Despite being cast out into the open waters, ‘Change of Plans’ amassed 700 ratings and reviews all on its own. Go, you good little book.

KU has many clauses and whatnots in their contract with authors. One of these rules is that the book/s must not be available anywhere else on the internet, otherwise the lawyer bots get cranky and send nasty emails and might even close accounts. It’s one of the reasons I left KU.

I'm proud of all my books. But 1 of the books that I truly adore coz I think it's some of my best writing is The Forever And The Now. It's not a romance and it pushed me outside my comfort zone. It's having its book birthday on Tuesday. I can highly recommend it if you don't mind sobbing at the end.
