The Unbound (Concept Design 3) - Concept Description found in image alt text #DigitalArt #OC #Illustration #Sketch #Art

The third design of The Unbound builds upon the second while taking a more mechanical and visually distinct approach to the character's proportions and appearance. This iteration also demonstrates his mastery over time by taking inspiration from hourglasses, seeing sand flowing through his body between his limbs, and tattering and tearing his grand cape showcasing that while time continues to wither it, The Unbound is unaffected.

The Unbound (Concept Design 2) - Concept Description found in image alt texts #DigitalArt #OC #Illustration #Sketch #Art

This second design of the immortal overlord of The Hour Glass, The Unbound, is a natural evolution from the original; using many of the same colours, design cues, and overall silhouette as the first iteration with strong Egyptian influence from the headdresses of ancient pharos. The repeated use of circles and hour glass imagery throughout the design is to better emphasise the characters connection to time and his control over it.

The helmet for this design of The Unbound is based on the headdresses worn by ancient Egyptian Pharos but given a technological twist, an hour glass-shaped visor and two large metal points like the eyebrows of owls in order to give the character a sense of intelligence alongside his immense power.

I have been trying too hard to nail my designs on the first attempt. Rather than tinkering with different ideas, creating unique out-there concepts and picking and choosing details to create a final piece, I have been skipping the process and going straight to the "final" design.

I have recently realised that my design process has been completely wrong for years. I have been so busy trying to find perfection in an initial first draft design that it has limited my ability to create and experiment. I intend to fix this. #DigitalArt #OC #Illustration #Sketch #Art #WIP

Wait- how am I only just now realising that they did away with pin joints on Star Wars Black Series figures? That was my biggest gripe with the line and the main reason why I could never really get into it as much as I wanted to. Guess I have some catching up to do!

What an episode! I’m unfamiliar with the comics but I could FEEL the importance of this episode, the stakes were so high, everyone felt at risk! And that ending promises one hell of a finale next week… PUMPED!!! #Invincible

Hey! The Promythical is a storytelling universe and my ultimate ambition. The name is an umbrella title under which any kind of story can be told, no matter the genre or other specifics; something with infinite potential and variety. It isn’t about any singular thing, it can be about anything!

Yes, I know I’m late to this, but holy CRAP is The Wild Robot just an incredible film! I had thankfully been able to avoid all trailers and went in with only a base knowledge of what the movie was about; and what a STUNNING, emotionally powerful and resonant movie it is. No qualms. Zip. 10/10

In conclusion, Captain America: Brave New World is a pretty good and mostly enjoyable experience that despite some iffy narrative and character decisions, especially concerning the lead villain, achieves what is perhaps most important: firmly establishing that Sam Wilson IS Captain America.

Action sequences can be hit or miss. The on the ground action stumbles at times as a result of excessive cuts stopping it from really flowing despite badass moments. This is remedied with a significant aerial combat sequence that serves as a highlight of the movie, as well as the awesome final fight

I have been a FNaF fan ever since the first game came out back in 2014. It has been a fundamental part of my life for the last 10 years. Now here we are, a proper trailer for Secret of The Mimic. So the new trailer for the live action How to Train your Dragon movie has been released. I dunno, I’m normally not for live action remakes but this looks really good! I still don’t think it’s exactly necessary, but knowing it would’ve happened with or without original Director Dean DeBlois (1/2)

I’ll never forgive them for fumbling Transformers One so badly. We may never see a sequel to it because of the poor first impression of that initial trailer. The only bright side being that we at least got an amazing film that works entirely on its own, no sequel required. Still, it’s a shame

000

PromythicalArts @promythicalarts.bsky.social · 11/02/2025

The trailers didn’t sell much of the movie very well, compared to the movie they were promoting they’re an absolute joke, especially that first one 😭 trailer two and three were better though. I have no clue how paramount fumbled the marketing bag so badly! They were given gold and made dirt

PromythicalArts @promythicalarts.bsky.social · 11/02/2025

I was the same at first, but Chris does such a good job transforming his voice through the course of the film, you really feel the evolution of the character right before your eyes! And don’t get me started on Brian Tyree Henry as Megatron…MVP, he is perfect!!!

I share a lot of stuff with my dad, going to the cinema and watching new shows is very much an us thing. We’re late but we’re finally starting Penguin today and Arcane on Monday. I think my personal favourite film of last year was for sure Transformers One, that was the TF film I’d been waiting for!

I’m much the same. Starting last year I began making an effort to watch more movies outside my usual comfort zone and it’s been great! Otherwise I might’ve missed out on films like Dune or Beetlejuice. My usual films are mostly things like Marvel, Star Wars, Transformers and Godzilla

110

PromythicalArts @promythicalarts.bsky.social · 11/02/2025

They take it as an overall show of quality rather than the percentage of critics that actually liked the movie in question and make a decision to watch something based on that. I mean, I enjoy plenty of bad movies like Transformers 2 and 3 regardless of their RT numbers

110

PromythicalArts @promythicalarts.bsky.social · 11/02/2025

I agree. I always look at critic reviews but I’ll never let them influence my opinion, especially for something I haven’t seen yet. I think it’s worsened when it comes to the big one, Rotten Tomatoes, because a lot of people fail to understand exactly how the site works and focus on the main number.

100

PromythicalArts @promythicalarts.bsky.social · 11/02/2025

Absolutely. One thing’s for sure though, the next 24 hours will determine a lot in terms of Cap 4’s potential success, seeing as people put a lot of stock (too much imo) into critic reviews.

110

PromythicalArts @promythicalarts.bsky.social · 11/02/2025

I hope both are good. The main trailers for Cap sold it as a solid Winter Solider Political Thriller type of movie, but recent clips have somewhat betrayed that. I’m somewhat worried, but I still think it can at least be decent to pretty good. We’ll know more once reviews start coming out later!

Giant robots. I love em. Always have, always will. Transformers Armada is one of my earliest memories of the Transformers franchise, I’d watch it at my grandparents house every week. It was awesome. So fair to say I love this thing. One of the best Commander Class figures ever. So glad I own it!

Peter Jackson loves spectacle, he proved it with the Lord of The Rings trilogy and I think those sensibilities for big large scale action adventure conflicted with the smaller and more intimate scale of The Hobbit in contrast
