“Healthier than I’ve ever been” in the 11 years he’s been my doctor… an agreement I share with Dr. David Morris at DAP Health. He’s the reason DAP Health is still my preferred medical home. I am very grateful to him, his team and the care I receive. 64 and ready for so much more!

Acceptance is the key to my serenity today. I am experiencing a bureaucratic limbo of sorts, and really, all I can do, is simply be in acceptance… “Do the next indicated thing.” “And more shall be revealed.” And I am objectively doing pretty well for 64! #gratutide #sobriety (25 years) #ODAT

“Living Life on Life’s Terms” is a common phrase in the world of 12-Step Recovery. We don’t always have a choice about what happens to us or those we love, but we can choose our reactions, learn and grow from the experiences and add to our proaction going forward. ….Nicholas Snow

Grateful for my health—and for a weight loss of over 52 pounds. 22 months. No dieting. No overreliance on exercise. No foods labeled bad, wrong, or off-limits. And no weight-loss medication. What did I practice? Mindfulness. Surrender. Accountability. The journey continues.

In 2018, a missed diagnosis led to unnecessary prednisone. I gained weight and lost nearly 40% of my hair. With proper treatment, my body stabilized and my hair grew back. After pandemic setbacks, I’m again close to my medically appropriate weight range. I’m writing a book about this journey. 🌱📖
