beelze of the day #3 is...? i haven't watched xros wars but apparently the reference book desc for this one doesn't have anything to do with his characterization which is a shame #beelzemon #Beelzebumon #digimon

artwork of the variant of beelzebumon featured in xros wars

beelze of the day 2 is very small because I've been sick all day #beelzemon #Beelzebumon #digimon

his summer skin also has a pretty clearly pierced left ear too and that was released 2 years before his 5* uncap, which adds to my theory that its a later mistake

summer lobelia artwork, left ear pierced

HOWEVER youll notice his 5* art and valentines alt both feature no piercings on the left ear! and this is also the case for his val combat sprite which was completely reworkd from the older ones' style, my guess being that the 5* art not having both ears pierced was an error referenced by future art

lobelia's 5* dialogue sprite, facing forward and having piercings on one ear but not the other

lobelia's valentine's alt artwork, showing an unpierced left ear

valentine's combat sprite, again showing one pierced ear and one not

5* lobelia's artwork; one ear pierced, one ear not

akrillic (from plok!) @projectgexe.bsky.social · 22/02/2026

reflecting this, his battle sprite just mirrors his head since both sides have piercings, and the same is the case for his 5* designs spritesheet as well

lobelia's head sprites, featuring piercings on both sides

akrillic (from plok!) @projectgexe.bsky.social · 22/02/2026

he has multiple other artworks which show his left ear and its visibly pierced as well, and theyre not just referenced from the other ear theyre different and lack the chain

lobelia's white day sprite, featuring piercings

lobelia's alternate artwork, also featuring piercings

akrillic (from plok!) @projectgexe.bsky.social · 22/02/2026

so lobelias regular sprite looks like this right? and youll notice that its 3/4 and only shows one ear which is Pierced and has that chain there

akrillic (from plok!) @projectgexe.bsky.social · 18/02/2026

its funny because its not even that different from his gc kitchen fit and i really like how it looks in the actual art but in the fucking dialogue sprite. what is this 💔

the fun thing about getting notifications on your art is scrolling down on the persons account and seeing something like this and then scrolling down to see a character whos a 12 year old child drawn with giant breasts
