I started drawing yesterday. I only spent like an hour on this but maybe my artistic journey could improve from here. I'm a former AI "artist" actually trying to do the pencil thing. And I actually enjoyed it. I have some ideas of what to explore next and none of it involves AI.

This is Manon from Streets. Doodled in Clip Studio Paint. It's not great but I'm sure if I spent more time on it, this piece would look more interesting. For now, I simply want to dip my toes in this artistic journey of digital art.

I overcame my Ranked Anxiety and finally got C. Viper to Master. Prior to that, I haven't done Ranked since Ed came out. Unfortunately, the Ken didn't want to finish the set. Oh well. Maybe I should try doing that MR grind thing.

I was excited with the result between Lepton and Soap until I did all the math... Then I felt cheated. If the DQ happened in the beginning of the event, then I probably wouldn't feel too bad but for it to happen near the end is messed up. I don't think I can respect this. 6/7

I did some math. This is what it should have been without the DQed player.

I also kept a running tab of the scores for my stream.
(Note that the battle between Soap vs Lepton in the last round should be 5-2 Soap ... I just didn't hit the "Update" button yet.)

120

Ashe Galatine @projectgalatine.com · 02/05/2026

So I guess the reason this person got DQed was lack of communication? Yet, the Match Week hasn't ended yet. What if they responded to battle on Sunday? I'm not one to judge but I probably would have waited until Sunday before reaching to the conclusion to DQ someone. 4/7

Battle Week actually ends on May 3, not May 1st.

110

Ashe Galatine @projectgalatine.com · 02/05/2026

Without the DQ, I would have won the pool and would have gotten a neat Heavy Hitter wristband mailed to me days later. However, what the DQ did was set the scores of that DQed participant to 0-0. So in other words: points down the drain. Which screw me hard in the standings. 3/7

Round Robin scores set to 0-0 for the DQ'ed player.

Modified standings. Matches with the DQed player now result in a "Tie".

110

Ashe Galatine @projectgalatine.com · 02/05/2026

I mentioned in a previous post on X about my secured placement in my BLKO pool. What I didn't account for was someone DQ-ing before the pool ends. This is the part where the math betrays me. 2/7

"I'm guaranteed Top 2 in my pool in BLKO Round Robin. However, I have to wait for a result from a match between the seed 2 vs. seed 8. If seed 8 wins, then they'll win the pool based on points (a tie-breaker of me vs s8). If seed 2 wins, I would win the pool based on sets won."

That's the full tour of The Humble Galatine! Every room blessed by one of The Twelve, from Nophica at the door to Oschon in the halls. Visit us in Empyreum, Ward 22, Plot 8 on Midgardsormr (Aether). Guests always welcome! #ffxivhousing

The owner, Flash Galatine, a machinist in ornate armor with a red cape sits at a small rooftop dining area, gazing out over the Empyreum ward. The rooftop deck is made of warm-toned wood planks, with a small white table, a paper lantern, wooden crates, and potted plants arranged casually. The sweeping mountain landscape of Ishgard stretches across the background, with spires and tent structures dotting the cliffs below under a hazy sky.

The upper hallway is a gallery unto itself. Portraits of Oschon the Wanderer line the walls alongside a vivid mural at the corridor's end. Throughout the home, paintings of The Twelve bless every room — a thread of devotion woven into the design. #ffxivhousing

The hallway viewed from the opposite end, looking toward a vivid mural at the corridor's far wall depicting a fantastical landscape aquarium with glowing moons and fiery autumn trees. The herringbone wood walls continue on both sides. Wall sconces cast warm pools of light. The dark marble and gold starburst-patterned wall of the private dining area is visible through a doorway on the right. A small bench or seat sits along the left wall. Hanging plants add greenery near the ceiling.

A mid-hallway view showing a painting of Oschon the Wanderer on the right wall — depicted in flowing robes — alongside the vivid aquarium visible at the end of the corridor on the left. A closed wooden door sits between them. The rabbit-eared Loporit stands at the far end of the hall near bright windows. The warm herringbone wood paneling and flooring fill the frame, with natural light streaming in from the windows at the corridor's end.

The upper floor hallway viewed from one end. Herringbone wood paneling lines both walls. A large ornate painting of Oschon the Wanderer — depicted as a red-haired figure with a green gem — is prominently displayed on the left wall. Further down the hall, additional framed artwork and a glowing purple or cosmic-themed piece are visible. Closed wooden doors lead to various rooms. The warm wood floor matches the wall paneling, creating a cohesive gallery-like corridor.

The private quarters are split across levels: a gaming den with rainbow-lit floors and dual monitors below, and a starlit sleeping loft above. Byregot the Builder hangs over the workout bench — body-building under the god of architecture. Fitting! #ffxivhousing

The personal quarters viewed from the doorway. Herringbone wood walls frame a split-level layout — stairs descend to a lower gaming area where monitors glow with blue light. The lower level features a dark, modern aesthetic with what appears to be a gaming PC setup. A wreath or medallion hangs on the wall. Above, a lofted sleeping area is partially visible through an opening in the ceiling, with a painted skylight or ceiling panel showing a starry scene. A red glow emanates from beside the staircase.

A top-down view of the gym area within the personal quarters. A weight bench with a loaded barbell sits at center on a grey tiled floor, with red weight plates secured on each side. A dumbbell rack holding graduated pairs of red dumbbells is positioned to the left. An ornate framed painting of Byregot the Builder — depicted as a bearded, muscular man with curly auburn hair and a purple drape — hangs directly above the bench on the herringbone wood-paneled wall, symbolizing the god of craftsmanship presiding over the act of body-building. A decorative metal gear or wreath is mounted on the right wall. The warm chevron wood paneling encloses the compact workout space.

Sunlight pours through arched windows into a steaming wooden soaking tub. Industrial pipe fixtures line the herringbone walls while a crystal sculpture catches the light. A peaceful retreat to wash away the day's adventures. #ffxivhousing

The soaking tub area of the bathroom. A large wooden barrel-style tub sits beneath tall arched windows that flood the space with golden sunlight. The herringbone wood walls angle inward like an attic ceiling. A dark lantern sits on the tub's ledge. The marble base of the tub contrasts with the warm wood surroundings. The overall atmosphere is serene and spa-like, with natural light as the primary feature.

A top-down view of the full bathroom showing both the soaking tub area with its sunlit arched windows and the vanity area with the industrial pipe fixtures and crystal sculpture. The herringbone wood floors and walls are visible throughout. Steam or mist rises gently from the tub. The room has a cozy attic feel with its angled ceiling, combining rustic wood with refined marble elements.

The bathing area on the upper floor, viewed from the entrance. Herringbone wood paneling lines the angled attic-like walls. Industrial-style pipe fixtures with round glass bulbs are mounted on the wall as light sconces. A decorative crystal or coral-like sculpture in red and green tones stands on a small pedestal. A basin or sink area is visible. Warm sunlight streams through from the right, creating dramatic light shafts across the wood surfaces.

Guests are treated well at The Humble Galatine. A canopy bed, hanging chair, bonsai tree, and a workstation with a view. Althyk the Keeper, god of time, watches from the wall — a reminder to savor every moment of your stay. #ffxivhousing

A corner of the guest room showing a workstation area. A large painting of Althyk the Keeper — depicted as a stern, aged figure — hangs on the herringbone wood-paneled wall. Below it, a modern-looking computer terminal or monitor glows with blue data displays on a sleek desk. A candle or lamp provides warm light. Hanging ivy trails down from above near a window. The warm wood paneling contrasts with the cool blue screen light.

The guest room sleeping area. A stone canopy bed frame with draped white curtains creates an alcove for the bed, which has light-colored bedding. A woven rattan hanging egg chair with a green cushion is suspended nearby. A small bonsai tree on a decorative stand adds a natural touch. An ornate patterned rug covers the floor. A glowing ring-shaped light and comfortable seating are arranged in the foreground. The herringbone wood walls create a warm, cabin-like feel.

Everyone's arguing about whether Alex and Patricia's relationship is okay. Nobody's asking the real question: Is that baby even his? The lore is right there. Capcom just hasn't said it out loud yet. 👀 #FGCLore #SF6_Alex

000

Ashe Galatine @projectgalatine.com · 26/03/2026

If Capcom brings Gill or Urien to SF6 — and all signs say they will — Alex's family becomes the narrative pressure point. A child with Illuminati significance, born to two people the Society already targeted? That's a plot hook. #FGCLore #SF6_Alex

100

Ashe Galatine @projectgalatine.com · 26/03/2026

Nakayama said Capcom will "revise certain text passages that may have been misleading." He also confirmed the Illuminati are still active in SF6. Metro City billboards reference Gill's paradise. Rashid describes invaders matching the Society's colors. #FGCLore #SF6_Alex

100

Ashe Galatine @projectgalatine.com · 26/03/2026

The story never establishes when Patricia was rescued vs. when she got pregnant. Tom's monologue jumps from "Alex brought her back" straight to the wedding. That gap could be months. Could be longer. Deliberately vague. #FGCLore #SF6_Alex

100

Ashe Galatine @projectgalatine.com · 26/03/2026

Urien hates Gill. His entire arc is overthrowing his brother and proving he's the true Emperor. If Gill marked Alex as important to his prophecy, corrupting Alex's bloodline — or creating a child connected to that lineage — is EXACTLY the move Urien makes. #FGCLore #SF6_Alex

100

Ashe Galatine @projectgalatine.com · 26/03/2026

Gill views Alex as genetically significant. In his 3rd Strike ending, he transforms Alex's body to mirror his own — marking him as "worthy." The UDON comics go further: Alex carries renegade Illuminati bloodline. Gill says he has "a role to play." #FGCLore #SF6_Alex

100

Ashe Galatine @projectgalatine.com · 26/03/2026

In SF3, when Alex asks Urien: "You know a man named Tom, don't you?" Urien EXPLODES. "What was that?! Never mention that name around me!" This has NEVER been explained. Urien has history with Tom that goes beyond Gill's beatdown. #FGCLore #SF6_Alex

100

Ashe Galatine @projectgalatine.com · 26/03/2026

Which organization in Street Fighter has a documented history of kidnapping civilians for genetic experiments? The Illuminati's G-Project gave us Necro, Twelve, and Eleven. Urien personally kidnapped Li-Fen from Chun-Li's care for experimentation. #FGCLore #SF6_Alex

100

Ashe Galatine @projectgalatine.com · 26/03/2026

Tom says Patricia got involved with "the wrong kinda people." She stopped coming home. Then one day she didn't come back at all. The story never says who they were. Never says how long she was gone. Never tells us what happened while she was there. #FGCLore #SF6_Alex

100

Ashe Galatine @projectgalatine.com · 26/03/2026

I don't think Patricia's baby is Alex's. 🧵 "A Toast Between Fathers" handed us a massive lore thread nobody's pulling on. Patricia was ABDUCTED by unnamed people before the wedding. Alex had to fight through them to bring her home. Who took her? #FGCLore #SF6_Alex

Finally, it would be nice to have a house in Solution 9. Or even just a fancy apartment would suffice! Not sure how a "ward" would fit here, but it would be nice to own residence here. #FFXIVHousing

Ashe Galatine @projectgalatine.com · 25/03/2026

In a more ideal scenario, we should be allowed to purchase any size plot without restriction. I understand why the ward system exists, but I feel the community aspect of it doesn't work in the NA Datacenters. I almost never see my neighbors when doing my lawn. #FFXIVHousing

In the past, there were ways where you could buy up a whole freaking ward, but now there are restrictions in place where you can only own one house per account. I'm NOT suggesting that we should be allowed to own more than one personal house. That's absurd! #FFXIVHousing

If the Lottery System for FFXIV's Housing Market remains in 8.0, we should be allowed to buy tickets for more than one plot, like how we're allowed to buy more than one lottery ticket IRL. If we win a plot, then we should accept one desired plot and refund the rest. #FFXIVHousing

A part of me is coping with Alex's arcade mode that it's just some colossal fuck-up from the localization team, and Capcom has yet to post that multi-paragraph "We fucked up!" press release graphic. It won't stop me from labbing Alex, but it feels unsettling thinking about it.
