Same here with similar results. But I call them “audio journals”. For my digital audio courses, I’ve migrated almost all writing reflections to this format. I also like being able to listen to them while on my exercise bike. 🚲🎧

I recommend to you this podcast series about Dolly Parton by Jad Abumrad (creator of Radio Lab). You may ask: how did a MacArthur Award winning pub radio guy meet Dolly? Because she personally funded his father's vaccine research, that's how. www.wnycstudios.org/podcasts/dol...

⚠️ Audio warning: The boom is loud, especially over headphones. Lower your volume before listening. About seven minutes after launch, the Falcon 9 first-stage booster returned to the landing site—bringing a sonic boom with it. This second clip captures that moment.

Night launches have their own atmosphere. The rocket's glow seems brighter against the dark sky, and the rumble and crackle feel amplified by the stillness. Recorded near Vandenberg during a SpaceX Falcon 9 launch while visiting with the PASCAL team from BYU. 🔊 Sound on.

Currently embedded with the PASCAL team from BYU who are lead by Dr Kent Gee & study rocket acoustics. We started our week with a 12-hour road trip out to Vandenberg Space Force Base. Looking forward to seeing how the launch facilities compare with Canaveral. 🚀

The detail that stayed with me: a bird calling steadily through the entire scene, seemingly unconcerned by the sound of a massive rocket leaving Earth. What's more remarkable: the sound of the launch or the bird's seeming indifference? 🐦

And if the county council is truly interested in avoiding waste, the right decision is to approve the grants. Because anything less at this point means you have wasted hundreds of hours of your local citizens' time. 6/6

We choose to live in a county that shares our commitment to the arts. If the county council is uncomfortable by certain programs, that should have been in the application guidelines from the outset. It is unacceptable to change the criteria this late in the grant process. 5/6

I am not directly affiliated with any of these organizations, meaning I do not hold any leadership position and did not aid with any proposals before the council. But I have collaborated with a few and my family and I participate in events programming by more. 4/6
