Being an old gamer is waiting in bed while your wife finishes watching Food Network, HGTV, or whatever show she has on.

She finally falls asleep. You wait a good half hour just to be safe.

TV off. Switch out. Wired headphones on. Everything perfectly quiet.

You start playing.

Two minutes later:

“Ugh, that screen is too bright. Turn it off.”

Only thing I found worth buying through the appreciation sale. If you are just getting a Switch for the first time, then the games on sale feel like Nintendo Classic price. Worth it for new buyers, but either I already have the game or I don't really care for them. good discount on hardware

At this point, I’m genuinely a little scared. Nintendo remade Star Fox. Zelda is getting the hyper-realistic treatment. So now I’m sitting here thinking…What if they’re actually holding onto a Super Mario 64 remake for Switch 2? I don’t know if I’m ready.

I’ve learned that reviews can’t be compared with one another. Both games can be great, but they’re being viewed within their own genre. Just like Mixtape—it can be an awesome game and still get a 10 out of 10 if someone wants it.
