He didn’t want the actual job of being president. He wanted one thing: to stay out of prison. Secondary—getting pending cases dropped; taking revenge on anyone who prosecuted or investigated him; capitalizing on the emoluments of the office. He got all that. And handed Musk the rest of the job.

Why do we allow it to continue? The insurance industry causes more bankruptcies and financial devastation than any other single cause. The insane rise in hospital, equipment, and procedure costs are partly to offset the predations of the insurance industry.
