I believe at some point it will be necessary for the violence of fascism to be met with the force of arms by people acting in self defence against tyrranical agents of the state. That is a terrifying conclusion, but I do not arrive at it lightly.

Violence in self defence is not murder. It is not good, it is not ideal, but it should not be condemned outright in all cases. To insist that it may never be politically necessary is to ignore history.
