iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Like you’re complaining about being mean to people (the devs) while actively attacking others who have zero ill intentions lmao

of deeply loving the series and maybe even VG. It’s kind of crazy to want everyone to shut up about their real opinions on their own account, where they aren’t directly @ devs or insulting them, because if we didn’t think they’re very talented and loved their work we wouldn’t care to begin with lmao

And that’s fine to do. But tbh I think it’s doing too much to say me, or anyone else for that matter, needs to touch grass because they have tame criticism of a game they’ve also said positive stuff about. Criticism isn’t all done in bad faith. Matter of fact, I’d argue most fans do it from a place

i’m sorry but if this is about my thread in which i simply point out the things i dislike about a character i overall loved in a game i paid for and have not insulted anyone over, that’s crazy 😭😭😭

How the fuck are devs supposed to survive if making a successful, beloved live service game isn’t enough to keep them employed

My advice to EA (not that they care): you have an IP that a lot of people love. Deeply. At its height, it sold well enough to make you happy, right? Look at what it did best at the point where it sold the most. Follow Larian's lead and double down on that. The audience is still there. And waiting. ❤️

the death of video games as an art or storytelling medium becoming more evident with each “X company believes the solution to all their problems is to focus on live service” article that comes out
