I had the privilege this week of attending the Academic Consortium on Criminal Justice Health. It was an amazing opportunity to learn from criminologists, physicians, community health workers, epidemiologists, activists, etc. I took notes so fast that my handwriting made me look like a real doctor.

Tardy to the party, but thrilled that Missouri has repealed its pay-to-stay law! In addition to being unjust and creating a hurdle to people's reentries after incarceration, these laws are ineffective. The costs of administration outweigh the fees collected. missouriappleseed.org/repeal-misso...
