I totally understand that the election officials in my state are the official people to talk to about this. There isn't really a direct way to do that, to be honest. And I'm not only worried about my state.

Seriously, I want to know what can be done. These places are typically guarded by the local and state police. But how are they going to stop armed DHS officials who are determined to take physical control of the building and are likely already in the said building? How will they stop that?

Oh no, you're misunderstanding what I'm saying. I'm not saying that they are going to gobble up ALL of the data from everywhere. That's impossible. But it's not impossible to physically take control of a few specific key districts in certain states. It only has to be enough to matter.

By the time the courts catch up, it's already too late. I'm sure I haven't thought of all the details, which is exactly why I posted the question. Do you see any way to stop DHS from forcing their way in and taking data? Because once they take it, it's compromised.

That gives them the physical means to force their way into processing centers and take control of whatever materials they want. The only things that these districts can do would be to sue in court. That would move quickly, but so would the destruction of votes.

Just as a general overview, we already know they are planning to have DHS at polling stations where they claim fraud will be. That will be key districts where large numbers of Ds vote, of course.

The DOD and DOJ are loyal to Trump now and will not reject that plan this time. In fact, they are already planning to have DHS run "security" at key D cities where they say fraud is happening. This is obviously prep for what's coming.

Next, during the 2020 election they actually drafted EOs that specifically instructed the DOD and DOJ to confiscate voting machines and data. But it was rejected by both at the time.

The problem with Trump's new economic D-Day on Iran is that it requires active participation from other countries. And Trump has alienated almost every country in the world. Remember the "90 deals in 90 days"? It's impossible for Trump to make a deal that would make it work.
