The way reality TV weaponizes “hygiene” critiques against Black women is such a specific cruelty it’s never about cleanliness, it’s coded class and race shame disguised as dating advice. “Snooping for Love” putting Patricia on blast wasn’t spontaneous; they cast her knowing they’d humiliate her.

This country was built on a racial hierarchy so embedded it can dress up oppression as policy and call it tradition. The media doesn’t miss the forest for the trees — it’s paid to water the root.

From the plantation to the Fed’s boardroom, Black women have borne the cost of progress. We open the door, take the blows, and watch others walk through. The pattern is centuries old: our sacrifice becomes their stepping stone.

Mississippi ranks 48th in child well‑being, 47th in economic well‑being, 50th in health, 48th in family & community. Kids here need food, healthcare, safe homes — not censorship bills. This isn’t about children. It’s about propping up frail egos, pleasing lobbyists, and controlling us

Absolutely. A’ja’s the core, but she needs real support—shot creators, not chaos. Gray’s off, the threes are wild, and Becky’s out here calling it “three quarters of trash” like she’s not the one running the show. If the system’s broken, fix the system. Don’t just blame the players. #Aces #WNBA

Yes—and it’s becoming more blatant. A’ja’s out here carrying the league while folks like Cunningham are worried about “off-court lifestyle” in Detroit?? Blk women built this league. Now that the bigots are watching, we’re supposed to accept dry takes and dry players being pushed to the front?. #WNBA

Starting to worry a bit about the Aces. A’ja dropped 29 against the Fever and no one else cracked double digits? That’s a red flag. I love Loyd’s game but I’m not sure she or Smith were the right fits. A’ja can’t carry this team every night—she needs help. #WNBA #Aces

Nina, your relentless campaign to delegitimize and diminish Kamala didn’t happen in a vacuum—it fed a broader narrative that undermined her at every turn. You don’t get to wash your hands of the consequences now. Some of us remember exactly how loud you were when it was time to tear her down

To my beautiful Black brothers and sisters—Today, we remember. We celebrate. We rest. We honor the ones who walked before us by living fully, freely, and without apology. Let joy be your protest. Let peace be your power.Happy Juneteenth.

It’s definitely suspect—6,000 applicants, yet not a single Black or Brown kid on the court? That’s not just coincidence; it speaks to deeper issues in access, outreach, and selection bias within French tennis. If the process is truly open, where’s the representation?

From forced childbirth to denied autonomy, women have always fought against systems that dictate their bodies. Adriana Smith’s case isn’t just tragic—it’s a modern echo of eras where women were treated as vessels, not individuals. Control disguised as ‘protection’ has always been the excuse.

America—where hate is always within budget, but survival comes at a premium.

Black coffee @problack135.bsky.social · 24/05/2025
I voted for progression—for reproductive rights, for the lives of children, for survival, for Gaza. You call it guilt-tripping, but survival has never been just a debate topic. The ability to feel emboldened while doing nothing? That’s the real downfall—a privilege turned into justification.

Black coffee @problack135.bsky.social · 24/05/2025
Mick, you inserted yourself into a conversation that wasn’t about you, and now you’re unraveling. If guilt isn’t the issue, why the defensiveness? You weren’t called out, yet here you are—pressed, deflecting, making it personal.

Mick’s unraveling makes sense—he never thought his vote mattered. But that’s the odd part, isn’t it? Like this was all just a performance, meant to be seen, not felt. B/c if it didn’t make an impact, then what was the point? Just to talk about how broken things are, while letting it go to hell?

Black coffee @problack135.bsky.social · 24/05/2025
We’ve fully entered the sunken place-where selective cynicism overrides strategy, and smug dismissal replaces accountability. You want to act like your vote was irrelevant, but individual choices build collective outcomes And if the system is broken, what’s the plan, Mick?
000
Black coffee @problack135.bsky.social · 24/05/2025
Foregone conclusions, deflections—anything but engaging with the actual debate. When it’s less about substance and more about performative outrage, it’s clear the conversation is going left—just not in the way you think. Repeating ‘I voted’ like a badge of honor doesn’t erase the broader issue.
100
Black coffee @problack135.bsky.social · 24/05/2025
Let’s face it—you frame voting as complicity, but silence is, too. You want to call out missteps, but only one-side gets your outrage. The real question is, when did selective fury replace actual strategy? So if tradition is the problem, maybe it’s time to break your own cycle.

You didn’t ‘pay for the genocide’—the Palestinian people are not you, and that hasn’t changed. But what has changed? The situation has gotten far worse and yet you utter not a word about what Trump has done. I wonder why. www.dailymirror.lk/opinion/Gaza...), (www.msn.com/en-ie/news/w...).

Who did you vote for again? B/c this isn’t a debate—it’s a spiral of projection, dressed up as critique. You PS me about purity, but the truth is, you’ve spent more time blaming Dems than actually challenging power. You didn’t lose the plot—you abandoned it the moment reality got uncomfortable.

Black coffee @problack135.bsky.social · 24/05/2025
You wielded devastation as an excuse to disengage, ignoring that this election wasn’t just about you. Others bore the consequences. If it was truly about justice, you would’ve fought for every avenue of survival instead of leaving the most vulnerable to fend for themselves. Own that.

Black coffee @problack135.bsky.social · 24/05/2025
Now you're worried about my job—imagine if you had that same urgency when it actually mattered. Sitting out didn’t save anything, it just handed the worst possible outcome more power. Maybe if you had thought about that instead of blaming everyone else, you wouldn’t be scrambling for excuses now.

The Triple Threat of Trash—Chris Brown, Diddy, and DDG—where bad music meets worse personalities. The aura? Rotten beyond recognition. No redeeming qualities, just a masterclass in how money can’t buy integrity, talent, or basic human decency. And Lanez—may his prison nights be filled with misery.

Ahhh, there it is—that **nasty** resentment toward everyone but yourself. Hold your head high if it helps, but it makes no difference. The reality is, your self-destructive tendencies aren’t resistance—they’re punishment. No more, no less.

Black coffee @problack135.bsky.social · 24/05/2025
When do voters bear the blame for their inaction? If you’re warned—clearly repeatedly—and ignore it because you didn’t like the message, that’s not strategy, it’s entitlement. At some point, refusing to act isn’t about rejecting a party—it’s about rejecting responsibility.

In reality, you too voted for genocide—both here and abroad. Killer Trump has already slashed billions that sustain lives worldwide, and yet, the cycle continues. The moral high ground? No one’s standing on it.

Say whatever makes you feel better—it won’t change the facts. Gaza wasn’t saved, Trump is doing exactly what Harris warned he would, and everyone has a hand in this, including you. Pretend all you want—the outcome remains the same.

Black coffee @problack135.bsky.social · 23/05/2025
Your words ring hollow when millions are about to suffer under GOP rule. These killings are vicious, but don’t act like defiance alone absolves you—sitting out didn’t help them, and neither does pretending this all boiled down to Harris distancing herself.

Empathy is a strength, not a weakness—Nina is right about that. Just wish that energy had extended to Harris instead of rallying against her. Now, look where we are. Funny how selective empathy gets when power is on the line.

I wish journalists would stop framing political news as wins or losses for politicians or political parties. It’s an abrogation of our mission. Why do we keep doing this? Is the spending bill a win or loss for the American people? Who does it help? Who does it hurt? Is it sound policy? Fiscally?

Republicans are betting that their base will accept any harm as long as they can blame someone else for it. Medicaid cuts, food insecurity, worsening wages—it doesn’t matter, as long as grievance keeps them distracted. The GOP thinks they can play this game forever. Maybe they’re right.

I’m thrilled about relocating to Maryland with my partner. While no place is flawless, I was captivated by the beauty of Black in all its shades and the sense of belonging. The cost is a bit jarring, but I’m eager to live in a state that’s worth the investment.

They want to gatekeep. They want to control—it’s about power. Restricting access to vaccines under arbitrary age limits intentionally puts vulnerable people at risk.Survival shouldn’t be a privilege, but they’re making it one. This is harm by design.

Some people have always wanted this, the power to both obsess over and despise us at the same time. And with an active KKK in office, they feel untouchable. But history has a way of reminding people that false confidence can lead straight to reality. Mess around and find out.

Lauren and Orion’s dynamic on *Married at First Sight* has been painful to watch—it’s a masterclass in manipulation and emotional exhaustion. Orion’s behavior has consistently shifted blame, twisted conversations, and made Lauren question herself, all while maintaining an air of justification.
