live reactions to [dks] watching this episode for the first time

41. Akane-banashi Good bordering on great. Felt like the first half did the actual rakugo scenes dirty, second half was better on that. Feels like something I would enjoy more in manga form.

40. Umamusume Cinderella Gray Cour 2 Perfect. It's everything this franchise does right turned up as high as possible. Announce season 2 right now Cygames.

39. 007 First Light This is what triple A gaming is all about. The only people who get it in the west is IO. A non-stop roller coaster, every session of this game gave me something to have a huge grin about. Perfect Bond vibes. Just an utter delight.

38. Umamusume: Cinderella Gray - Cour 1 Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck this is so fucking cool. I want to save in depth thoughts for when I finish cour 2 but this is everything great about the franchise distilled into 13 episodes.

37. Lupin the 3rd Part IV Pretty good. Pretty much exactly what I expect and want from a Lupin property. Pretty much perfectly enjoyable most of the way through.

Caitlin @probablyclock.bsky.social · 30/04/2026

35. Nekomonogatari Black Definitely a lot more of what I liked from this series so far after whatever the fuck happened in Nise. With that said I think this series is always going to have me on guard because every time I think I get comfortable I get hit in the head with a baseball bat.

Caitlin @probablyclock.bsky.social · 29/04/2026

34. To Be Hero X One of the craziest fucking shows I've seen in years. It threw a millions things at the wall. Everything happens so much. Every week something happened so much. Jesus.

Caitlin @probablyclock.bsky.social · 27/04/2026

33. Umamusume Pretty Derby: Beginning of a New Era Rewatch. I love this fucking stupid series so much.

220

Caitlin @probablyclock.bsky.social · 27/04/2026

32. Umamusume Pretty Derby: ROAD TO THE TOP This was the theatrical cut. You can definitely tell it was an OVA stitched into a movie at some points, and it never reaches the highs of BOANE, but God. God. When this series hits, it's like a freight train. Admire Vega you are loved please come home.

Caitlin @probablyclock.bsky.social · 26/04/2026

31. Spy X Family Code: White It was good. It felt like an arc of of the show. I don't have much else to say about Spy X Family at this point.

100

Caitlin @probablyclock.bsky.social · 25/04/2026

30. Getter Robo Armageddon Rewatch. The greatest show ever made. 8/10.

130

Caitlin @probablyclock.bsky.social · 22/04/2026

29. Kuroko's Basketball Started in 2025. It was pretty good! I enjoyed myself. Not the best sports anime I've seen but I think it's solid.

28. My Dress Up Darling Season 2 (2025) Everything I liked from season 1 but more, and better.

110

Caitlin @probablyclock.bsky.social · 16/04/2026

27. Link Click (2021) Jesus Christ. I had something written up during the halfway point of the last episode that I had to rewrite by the end. This show is insane you should all watch it.

130

Caitlin @probablyclock.bsky.social · 14/04/2026

26. Spy X Family Season 2 (2023) About as good as the first season. I don't know, I don't have much to say. It was cute. I think Yor is [REDACTED].

110

Caitlin @probablyclock.bsky.social · 12/04/2026

i saw my friend and my wife make this tier list so now i'm going to curse the rest of my timeline that doesn't care about uma with my uma opinions

110

Caitlin @probablyclock.bsky.social · 09/04/2026

25. Hell's Paradise Season 2 (2026) Pretty good follow up to a first season that I also thought was pretty good. Liked it a bit more than the first season.

110

Caitlin @probablyclock.bsky.social · 08/04/2026

24. Delicious in Dungeon (2024) Started in 2025. Really good. Every week something happened that was more bizarre than anything that happened the week before. I want to study these people like bugs.

150

Caitlin @probablyclock.bsky.social · 07/04/2026

23. Witch Watch (2025) Started in 2025. I liked it. :)

110

Caitlin @probablyclock.bsky.social · 06/04/2026

22. Nisemonogatari (2012) Nowhere near as good as what came before it. Still had some good stuff but worse than the first part, with the toothbrush scene being worse than I ever could have imagined. Trusting my friend that this is the nadir and things get better after this but this was rough.

220

Caitlin @probablyclock.bsky.social · 01/04/2026

21. Dr. Stone (2019) Started in 2025. Good! I admittedly had low expectations going in but it blew past them pretty quick. Enjoyable stuff. Wish the women did not look like that!

120

Caitlin @probablyclock.bsky.social · 30/03/2026

20. Jujutsu Kaisen: The Culling Games Part 1 (2026) shoulder hurts so dont have the energy to type. it's awesome again. want to see how the rest of culling games go before i give anymore thought on it

110

Caitlin @probablyclock.bsky.social · 26/03/2026

19. Cowboy Bebop (1998) Started in 2025. Shockingly, one of the anime generally considered one of the greatest of all time is excellent. Feel like there isn't much I can say to do it justice or that hasn't already been said by people smarter than me to begin with. It is, in fact, one of the GOATS.

490

Caitlin @probablyclock.bsky.social · 15/03/2026

18. Ranking of Kings (2021) Started in 2025. Great. Incredible cast, love the art style, has some of the best vibes out of any anime I've seen in recent years. Glad I picked it.

130

Caitlin @probablyclock.bsky.social · 15/03/2026

i spent months pining for manhattan cafe on uma and now after i finally got her she’s sending me this shit. girl what the FUCK does that mean

1102

Caitlin @probablyclock.bsky.social · 03/03/2026

17. Resident Evil: Requiem (2026) Incredible. Just below RE4 and RE2make on my tier list. Some of the scariest stuff the series has ever done and easily the dumbest stuff they've ever done. Everything I like in Resident Evil is here.

140

Caitlin @probablyclock.bsky.social · 21/02/2026

16. Nioh 3 (2026) Not quite as good as Nioh 2 in my opinion but a slightly worse Nioh 2 is better than 99% of action games that have come out in the last decade. I'm going to be so sad when the inevitable patch comes out that nerf the tonfas. Team Ninja sweep, we're in the Koei Tecmo Century.

111

Caitlin @probablyclock.bsky.social · 21/02/2026

15. Undead Unluck: Winter Arc (2026) Flew by, not sure in a good way. A lot of good stuff but a lot of filler. Please cut down on the recaps in season two. Season two WHEN

120

Caitlin @probablyclock.bsky.social · 11/02/2026

14. Kinnikuman Perfect Origin Arc (2024) Started in 2025. I thought it was fun. This was my first time watching Kinnikuman and I enjoyed myself well enough. Better than anything the fed is putting on.

110

Caitlin @probablyclock.bsky.social · 30/01/2026

13. Kizumonogatari (Part 1, 2 and 3) (2016, 2017) Putting all three here together since I think it fits better and it's hard to separate my thoughts on all three. Some of the best stuff in the series so far and also definitely the worst in the series so far, but overall very very good.

130

Caitlin @probablyclock.bsky.social · 29/01/2026

12. Nioh 3 Demo (2026) All hail Team Ninja, all hail Koei Tecmo. This is going to be my GOTY, I already know it.

100

Caitlin @probablyclock.bsky.social · 26/01/2026

11. Revolutionary Girl Utena: The Adolescence of Utena [REWATCH] Awesome. The greatest to ever do it, again. I thought I would be able to understand the symbolism and allegories better on a second watch but I don't think I learned anything at all. Watch Utena.

120

Caitlin @probablyclock.bsky.social · 26/01/2026

This moment at least made me cry laughing when I saw it.

244

Caitlin @probablyclock.bsky.social · 26/01/2026

10. Hand Shakers All timer dogshit. Every idea they had was wrong, and they went about executing them in the worst ways possible. Not unconvinced the target demographic for this show was Shinzo Abe. Ugly, disgusting, give me $200. A laugh riot with friends, however.

130

Caitlin @probablyclock.bsky.social · 20/01/2026

9. Shangri-la Frontier Season 2 (2024) Love my junk food MMO anime. It's like eating a perfect fast food burger.

140

Caitlin @probablyclock.bsky.social · 19/01/2026

8. Grand Theft Auto IV: The Ballad of Gay Tony (2009) [REPLAY] Much better. Story is better, characters feel developed and some are actually likeable, missions are fun, basically everything I want out of a GTA. The game soft locked after the final cutscene for me.

110

Caitlin @probablyclock.bsky.social · 19/01/2026

7. The Red Ranger Becomes an Adventurer in Another World (2025) Started in 2025. A show that I watched, for sure. Felt nothing for it at the start, felt nothing at the end. Not for me. I know it's for others in this group watch but it's not for me.

100

Caitlin @probablyclock.bsky.social · 14/01/2026

6. Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost And Damned (2009) [REPLAY] Kind of bad? I remembered not liking it as much as Gay Tony and base game IV, but this replay kind of just made me dislike it. Everything sucks, everyone sucks, everyone should die, and then they all die in 5 years anyways. Avoid!

100

Caitlin @probablyclock.bsky.social · 14/01/2026

5. Revolutionary Girl Utena (1997) [REWATCH] Rewatch started in 2025. The best to ever do it. Rewatching it with the context of what came before somehow elevates it even further for me and I already gave it a 10. Necessary watch for anyone who watches anime.

240

Caitlin @probablyclock.bsky.social · 12/01/2026

4. Grand Theft Auto IV (2008) [REPLAY] Started in 2025. Decided on a whim I wanted to play GTA again. Moments credits rolled I said "yeah that's still an 8/10 game". Story is good. Rest of the game, for every two things I like about it there's one thing I dislike. Probably will replay the DLCs.

110

Caitlin @probablyclock.bsky.social · 06/01/2026

3. My Dress Up Darling (2022) Started in 2025. The fact I'm even logging this is a testament to my personal growth. The fact that I even liked it despite the sheer amount of ecchi in this is a testament to the writing. Very fun, very cute, had a fun time.
