I've had the most success on-boarding Trek fans through Strange New Worlds. Some old school Trek fans will poo-poo it, but I've watched every series and this one is some of the best Trek can be imo.

REVONTULET

Minnesota Aurora FC supporters respectfully express disappointment in the USLW's decision not to select Aurora and TCO Stadium as a host site for this weekend's National Semifinal.

We recognize the league's broader logistical considerations, yet this outcome does introduce meaningful player safety concerns by requiring Aurora to undertake extensive travel for all three playoff rounds. It also represents a missed opportunity to highlight women's soccer in a premier facility with a large, engaged fan base.

Still, our commitment remains unwavering.
Aurora fans will be present in Seattle, supporters will gather at watch parties across Minnesota, and thousands of community owners will be cheering from home as we support our undefeated, Teal Football Club.

Trans people belong everywhere, every day. Revontulet, we, will be there to support them at every Aurora match and everywhere else. And today most especially, trans athletes belong in sports. No matter their age, no matter the sport, not matter what city or state they are in.

3 on 3 hockey on olympic size ice is a completely different form of the game than 5 on 5 and it makes no sense to fundamentally change what game you are playing once it becomes sudden death. Should be 5on5 until a goal. But I'd even take one 5on5 period and a shoot out over any 3on3.

Penny Arcade, they've certainly been kicking that long. Watch a lot of Smosh content too, they're only a year or two behind you. I'd say Smosh is a good comparative example. They too have benefitted from a lot of people being involved and brining new personalities to the table as things have gone.

Returnal is 3rd person, but is super polished and feels great to play. With some good storytelling along the way. Deathloop was a really fun shooter as well, cool story puzzle to figure out, lots of different ways to approach it.

Depending on available time, really long walk outside. Add in mindfulness like purposefully cataloguing colors and things you see as you go. If less time is available really intense exercise until grossly sweaty and then a hot shower.

Homebody might be worth checking out. Most of the horror is of the psychological/thriller type with a few jumpscares; so it feels in line with a Subnautica type game. Fun time loop puzzles and loads of creepy mystery to unravel. It's half off on Steam right now as well.

Silvos, Rogue Elemental This came out in Onslaught, which dropped my freshman year of college when I really started regularly playing. Not only was it an awesome big creature; but that art; and the flavor text? Tell me you don't want to know more about that. It has remained my MtG mascot since.

A picture of the Magic: the Gathering card Silvos, Rogue Elemental. The art depicts a green Elemental creature covered in vines and moss depicted in a galdiatorial Arena. The flavor text of the card reads: "He was born of the Mirari, thrust out of his homeland before he was even aware. Left without purpose or meaning, he found both in the pits."

Example. I could see paying $50 an hour for myself to be in a game session with you and some other people willing to do the same. But I'd have a harder time justifying $250 an hour to find/wrangle/bring a group of my own friends along with.

050

Ben (most likely) @probablyben.bsky.social · 26/06/2025

I'm guessing here, but I think you are more likely to find individual takers at a higher rate. As in, offering spots in a game where people are playing a per player rate to get themselves in rather than covering an entire play group privately.

140

Ben (most likely) @probablyben.bsky.social · 26/06/2025

I think the shortest possible answer is: yes. I certainly would be perusing your rate sheet.

Core Jumpstart sets have been great, set specific ones... less so(imo). But I'd still love to see more frequent releases of the product. Flavor-wise what is a creative umbrella you'd love to play in to release a wave of Jumpstart decks?

I feel this 100%. I've gotten in the habit of using the auto-save logic. So I'll get right up to the fight, go in and swap a loadout or party member back and forth so it triggers the autosave. Then I can be checkpointed right back to walking up to the fight.
