AND not to say that it's all OSS dev's faults (it's not). I place the blame squarely at the feet of AMD. ROCm is unsalvageable terrible and yet that's all they push. If you and Intel are this far behind you should be bending over backwards to support the true universal standard.

there's a gold mine of local cards out there if people would just work harder to support vulkan as a first class citizen. CUDA's a trap, ROCm is garbage, and I have no idea what the fuck Intel is doing. But until CUDA's back is broken we're going to be e-wasting so many good GPUs and HBM
