Yeah PAX is great but have you ever collapsed in your hotel with takeaway pizza and anime?

This is probably the south-east asian part of me but I do love a crowd, a line and a spectacle. We waited in multiple queues to both get in and pay at Kinokuniya Melbourne last night and I had a bloody blast

Finally shared this icon with Alan last night. K3G doesn’t hold up in the 2020s imho, but the drama was incredible, and the songs are still so fun.

Grand Bazaar on the DS was one of my favourite titles. I can’t wait to run my silly little market stall and fall in love with the passionate teacher again. 😭💖

Finding time for myself this week has been really lovely. It’s been busy full of life admin, but also taking time for small moments of space has been needed.

Star Trek: Discovery + Dragon Age: The Veilguard - The most queer and diverse out of all the series - High stakes all the time with barely a moment to breathe - Wonderfully written characters that I wish had the time to explore their complexities - Tends to tell, not show

Star Trek: Voyager + Dragon Age: Inquisition - A journey spanning a long period of time, visiting areas never seen before - The pacing is sometimes off, but its heart is in the right place - Wonderfully frustrating characters - We love seeing complex women in positions of power

Star Trek: Deep Space Nine + Dragon Age 2 - The most morally complex of the series - Has some incredibly rough bits, but the emotional parts hit so well - Not received well at the time of release, but looked back on fondly as excellent storytelling - Tried something new!

Star Trek TNG + Dragon Age: Origins - Extremely loveable cast - Sets up so much lore we know and love about the series as a whole - Revered by fans, sometimes to an unhealthy amount - Has excellent writing, but feels dated in some of its representation. It means well though.

Dragon Age: Inquisition 🥚 How do I begin to explain how much this game means to me? I played it during my honours year, it was a respite from the constant work and research I was putting in. My Inquisitor and her story means so much to me, and I've made lifelong friends thanks to this series.

Devil May Cry 5 🗡️ Look, I wish I could sound smart about the great mechanics the Devil May Cry series features, or how the design of each iteration is shaped by the time period it's made in, but I'm gonna be serious here. It's because I simp for Dante.
